As travelling could be quite dangerous(especially backpacker at foreign countries!), what safety measures should u prepare before and during the trip?

kindly list down the safety measures (as in for physical protection or to prevent snatches)here if you have any idea about for others reference as well!

1. Get penknife/pepperspray along with you 24/7! get it for own protection! unless you have a muscular gangster looked man/woman bodyguard.. XD
2. Keep your money/important documents under hidden pouch/ money belt
3. Travel with someone if possible.
4. Bring first aid kit
