Hi Guys

currently I m working as a analyst programmer doing COBOL programming (not mainframe) and reporting based on Business Objects XI / Desktop Intelligence and the salary is around 2300

but lately i kinda wanted to survey and test the market by applying quite alot of COBOL related and BOXI jobs on the market, since my experience for both software is around 2 years its kinda hard to get any job interview and even do i got an interview i will stuck at 2nd interview. bear in mind that i already apply nearly 60 vacancies and from there only 4 is calling me back for interview session.

currently i m thinking to continue my study at OUM since i only have diploma but after reading some article regarding professional certificate and working experience by this user clngu

Hi guys

i have an issue with my graphic card after reformatting my PC i clean install win 7 and download latest patch of GC driver from the website. after installing and reboot, my pc is manage to load windows but the screen is blank and except you can see the mouse arrow and hover it anywhere.

previously it working well until this "black screen of death" occured

any suggestion? i already try quite a bunch of suggestion through googling the issue but so far no luck.

here is my spec -
GC - Sapphire Vapor-x HD5750 1gig
Proc - AMD Phenom II
MB - M4AE
Ram - 1gig

i read some review on internet and official website of Asus mention about compatible ram but i already blur about their suggestion.

anyone can shed some light on this matter. coz i want to upgrade my RAM

currently using this RAM.
Corsair XMS2 2GB kit (1+1) DDR2 800 RAM
and
currently using windows 7 32bit.

maybe upgrade to DDR3 will be good enough since i feel kinda slow when do some multi tasking on my pc and actually wondering max capacity RAM for this mobo.

after installation of new GC, i feel kinda lag even moving mouse you will feel the lagging, and when i see desktop properties its mention ATI Radeon 3300 Graphics HP L1950.

kindly help me.

this is how i install the graphic card and honestly i newb

- plug in the new gc
- put the power
- put monitor - 1 DVI port and put another VGA port
- turn on
- install new driver from amd website.
- restart.

recently i been assign to learn cobol and working on cobol program in Banking environment, may i know if anyone of you already in this field and what is the prospect of cobol in the future? and how you learn it?

i already try using it the language quite old but still fun to learn but have alot of learning curve and need to precise think about what you doing and most of the thing i dont have debugger. *looking to solved 1 error it can take me the whole day.
