hi guys, any1 of u tried ocing the sapphire hd 4770 b4? I'm using riva tuner as ATI tool cudnt even recognize d card.... but having no luck with the riva tuner...can pump the core clock but once push the memory clock, d system goes black & nth happens...!?

hey...how come there's no crossfirex or inter-gpu connector coming as bundle in the sapphire box? Is it me or is somebody else having the same issue?

Hi...

will be building a rig from scrap...budget is around ~~1.5~1.8k~~ (increased to 2k)...wanna ask the gurus here to help me select those items wic is best bang for the bucks...

my current dilemma:

Chip: E5200 or E7400 (I will be OC-ing the chip, wic 1 more worth?)
Board: ~~GA-EP45-UD3L or P5Q SE PLUS or Biostar TP45 HP (CF support)~~
GA-EP43-UD3L or P5QL-Pro or any P5Q G-41 Chipset? (My concern is will d G-41 allow me to push d E7400's 266 to 360 FSB?)

RAM: no need, coz ody hv a xms dhx 6400 CL4 pair
Card: Looking at the HD 4770 wic jz released (Rite nw no need CF)
HDD: WD? or SG?
Drive: Lite-ON? or Pioneer? or is Samsung & LG good enuf? (I'm not picky)
PSU: CM Real Power series (do i need this? or jz get ciplak 1?)
Case: Any good looking arnd rm150
LCD: BenQ? LG? or Samsung? (really no idea wanna go for wat size & make)

that's probably it...dilemma is choosing d board & chip...& i'm not familiar wif AMD build, if got AMD build oso plz suggest...Is the HD3200 integrated in the 780G able to do hybrid wif 4770? without CF dat is....thnx guys

sifus & gurus...I currently hv a ATI Radeon 9600 XT & am thinking of getting the ATI X1550 to replace this card (am looking at a used x1550 now)...my question is...how much better is the X1550 AGP 256DDR2 compared to my 9600 XT AGP 128DDR?

I dunn wanna compare d card wif a x1600 or x1650...jz wanna kno for d x1550 case...thnx

& if some of u hv a 3dMark03 or 05 score for 9600xt or x1550 can plz share wif me? thnx alot!

Like the topic suggests...would really appreciate it if some of the gurus or owners of the above mentioned boards can give a clue as to which of the two are more worthy....or can overclock better...

Both are based on P45 chipsets and are really very good for overclocking..but which 1 u prefer? & y?

Guys & gals, anyone here ever volt-modded his/ her 8600GT?

I have an ASUS GDDR3 256MB version and really need some guidance on volt mods, preferably short-circuiting resistance to pump up d voltage via pencil mod.
