Hi peeps,

Heads up I'm planning to propose to my gf this xmas so am in the midst of looking of some engagement rings from Tiffany & Co.

I live in Australia so I roughly know the prices of Tiffany & Co. rings (from the website and shop) (e.g. a Tiffany Setting engagement ring say 0.5 carat is approx $4,400 AUD according to Tiffany & Co. Australia website)
So my question is - would it be cheaper to get it here, or back in Malaysia?
I've done a search on this forum and this topic has been of course brought up before but were about 2-3 years old - and in one of those old threads one forumer said he/she worked in Tiffany & Co. before and the prices in Malaysia is cheaper than elsewhere.

Just wondering if any of you have had the experience of looking/buying Tiffany & Co. rings both in Malaysia and overseas?

monitor resolution

i have an Acer AL1916W monitor and i've some prob lately in particular the resolution
previously i have used the monitor for almost a year now and have no problem with it at all.....but lately the reso seems to be distorted, and i've tried the following but still no result

-installing/updating the driver for the monitor
-installing/updating the driver for graphic card (intel ® graphics for laptop)

and in my display settings, my laptop recognise my monitor as 'default monitor' instead of 'plug and play monitor'

any pro/guru here can help..i'm getting headache with the distorted resolution

YouTube loading very slow

everytime i try to run a video at YouTube / Metacafe etc, the videos tend to load very slow.
they used to load very fast. Anything to do with flash player? I've installed the latest but still the videos load very slowly

Not scolding actually, reprimand shall i say? i'm having quite a bad patch in the office lately, can't complain too much since it was my mistake. i'm sure everyone "kena" before. But it sucks having to go back to the office the next day and your supervisor still showing you the "because of your mistake i have to do double work" face... What more worse with my staff review coming up next month. DAMN.
Need to destress...
