Laptop Battery Swollen

My Lenovo Legion battery can be seen slightly swollen at the touchpad area. It is currently 3 years old and out of warranty.

Quotation from Lenovo authorized service provider for onsite repair/replacement is RM700.

Should I replace the battery immediately?

The only one I found so far is Bosch, but will not be considered due to it sky-high price.

If you are in a situation to look for used Toyota sedans, and found out that used Corolla's price is about the same as used Camry's, for roughly the same year and mileage, which will you get? And why?

To be more specific, the used Corolla model is 1.8L E170 and used Camry model is 2.5L XV50.

Sony Wireless Speakers SRS-XB10

Hi all,

I recently purchased 2 pieces of Sony Extra Bass SRS-XB10 as my pair of wireless stereo speakers for my laptop.

After I paired them with my laptop via Bluetooth, I found the sound delay is too unbearable when I was watching Youtube and movies of .mkv format using VLC player. The delay was very obvious especially when videos were showing people talking.

I thought this is the characteristics of Bluetooth wireless technology, and so I tried connect the speakers to my laptop 3.5mm output using cables. I did press reset button on the speakers to erase all pairing information. With wired mode now, the delay reduces, not as serious as wireless mode, but it is still noticeable.

When I plugged in my headphones, I don't have delay problem for videos.

Anyone know what can cause the delay for wired mode? Any fix can be done?

Gigabyte just unveiled a new brand of gaming laptop called AORUS with first model X7. First look of it is quite sexy, slim and powerful with 2x GTX765m GPUs. All other specs are quite good as well.

Redemption Code Invalid

Hi all,

I recently bought a copy of God of War Saga from Sony Centre. Inside this compilation got a downloadable voucher for 2 games: Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta.

But the redemption code given is invalid in my Sony Playstation Network account.

I then asked Sony Centre shop, they said have to change the country account to US. But I found in account settings the country (Malaysia) can not be changed.

Can anyone help?

Samsung Galaxy Nexus or HTC One X?

I plan to purchase an Android phone soon, but come to a dilemma now.

Initially I plan to get Nexus. I even read the guide on how to flash yakju 4.0.4 on it so that can have OTA 4.1 JB update automatically. The price is around RM14xx for SME set from the retail shops I asked. (I prefer to buy from shop.)

But today I went to Harvey Norman and found that they are selling HTC One X at RM1999 with 12 months installment plan, with 0 interest and 0 credit card admin charge and a free Bluetooth headset. So roughly about RM166 per month.

Now, I prefer to save money due to some pressure I am having. Should I pay less in a lump sum to get Nexus for stock Android experience OR pay more in 12 small installments to get One X with no Jelly Bean update in near future? (God knows when HTC will give the Jelly Bean update)

So pls help to poll. Thanks ya.

iPad 2 WiFi Problem

Hi all,

I am having problem with my iPad 2 WiFi, iOS updated to 5.1.1 sometime ago.

1. When turning on WiFi, it is able to detect my home WiFi SSID, but it said "unable to join the network"?

2. I then did a reset on the network settings, and tried again to join my home WiFi, then it is able to connect, but have no access to Internet!

3. I rebooted my iPad 2 and the wireless router as well, problem still persists!

4. My other laptops have no problem accessing Internet, even my PS3 is working fine!!!

Can anyone help me please?

Laptop Shuts Down By Itself!

Hello all,

I encountered a problem with my laptop. My 2 year-old laptop is equipped with ATi Mobility Radeon X1700 graphic processor, and I have played quite a number of games without much problems. Some of these games are quite resource consuming such as Call of Duty 4 (both Modern Warfare and World at War), The Witcher, Command & Conquer 3, etc...

But few days ago, I installed and played Civilization 4, a 4 year-old turn-based game. While playing this game, my laptop just suddenly shuts down, power totally cut off, but the AC power still plugged in. I wonder what the hell is the problem with this game, as doing normal tasks like surfing have no problem at all. If drivers or software bugs, it won't cut off the power completely as far as I know.

The only thing that comes into my mind is the laptop is over-heating, but I am not that sure... since playing other "heavy" games the laptop just runs normal.

Do you guys have any idea?

Car Fuel Pump

All car gurus,

I like to ask what is usually causing a car's fuel pump to fail? How to prevent it from spoiling?

My car is a Wira 1300CC, which engine failed to start due to fuel pump failure for 2 times already. The fuel pump costs me RM300++, which is a big deal to me.

Appreciate advice from you guys.
