Mini Cooper S maintenance cost

Hi all,

I'm considering getting a Mini cooper for my wife's birthday since she's in love with that car for some reason. I've read through some threads in this forum but can't get much information on the cost of servicing and maintenance of these little cars. I'd like to know a rough estimate on much does the service cost each time. I heard it's quite a reliable car with not much problems, hope this is true.

Just a reminder before you post a reply such as "why you want to buy mini, VW golf is better... or mini no power, handling is lousy...etc." This car is for my wife and she doesn't race on the streets like some idiots. Would appreciate if everyone can keep to the topic.

Hi everyone,

I would like to share and also get some feedback. My 6 month daughter loves this song that I found on youtube. My wife and I are also surprise that whenever she cries we would turn on this song and she will instantly calm down. it makes sleeping much more easier. We have tried other songs but they never seem to calm her down. I'd like to recommend this song to for all to try. Please share if it does work on your baby.

Yamaha C45 preaamp and M35 power amp

Hi all,

I'm quite new to this hobby. I have a friend who is willing to sell his yamaha C-45 preamp and M-35 but asked me to make an offer. All I know that it's from the 80's and Yamaha makes very good audio produtcts. I would like some advice on how much they are worth used. Both units needs to work together and are in very good condition. Any advise is much appreciated. Below are the images I found on the web.

Speaker suggestions to use with NAD 3020i

Hi,

I'm kinda new to this hobby. I was recently given an old NAD 3020i amp. I was told it's quite a good amp. I've pluged in a pair of sony speakers and it sounds crap. I know the speakes are not right.

I would appreciate it if anyone can suggest a set of speakers for this amp. At the moment I have 2 in mind:
1.Behringer C1 monitors or;
2. Mini Advent II.

Theay are both cheap. Thats why I'm considering.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
