Hard disk crashed-head problem

Hi guys...my hard disk have crashed..suspect head damage..the disk is undetectable...any way to recover the data?went to lowyat..and they said it is very complex process but will cause me around RM2000++.Appreciate if any of sifus out there who can advise.

Hi,
Really need advise from sifus here! My life is in risk now!
I put my laptop on sleep mode and after a while I need to restart the laptop.
The next thing - the was a clicking sound(3 times) and the hard disk couldnt be detected.
I tried to detect the hard disk by using SATA - USB cable but it no longer could detect the HD.
Went to Lowyat and they said it will cause RM1K++ as they need to sent to lab to take the metal disk to recover the data.
They said it is the head or arm problem.

Is there any other way I can retrieve the data?It is very very very importants stuffs.

Please can some one help?
