From US syllabus to Malaysia International school

Hi,

I planned to change my children (11 grade 6 next semester & 14 grade 9 next semester) from US syllabus to any other international syllabus (preferable with IB). My children don't know any Bahasa Malaysia as they never studied in Malaysia. I have to rule out ISKL, Mont Kiara & IGB international due to budget. Any suggestion on which syllabus would much less pain for the kids? So far, my research shows that probably the Sunway International School's Canada syllabus has more similarity to US syllabus? Would like to discuss with all the gurus here and I'm open to any suggestion. I'm planning to stay in Klang valley. Budget is approximately Sunway International School's charges.

Cheers,
All,

I will be transferred to KL soon and I'm looking for the advise on where to stay in KL. My consideration would be:

1. My office is near to KLCC
2. Kids are going to ISKL Secondary
3. Prefer condo or apartment with good security record
4. From home to office in less than 45 min
5. From home to ISKL in less than 30 min

Any recommendation?

Cheers,
OCB

Multimedia Speakers with RCA/Optical Input

Any good recommendation for 2.1 multimdeia speakers that I can use it for my PC and DVD/TV? I require the speakers to have input with RCA or Optical (for DVD/TV) and 3.5mm jacket (for notebook/PC). My budget is around RM200. I'm not an audiophile so budget is my main concern as long as the speaker output decent bass and clear treble. Thanks.

Date Stamp On Photo

All,

Anybody can please recommend which image software can perform the batch date stamp on the photos taken with digital camera? I'm using Sony W300 to take picture but just know the Sony W300 doesn't has the function to stamp the taken date on the picture. I would like to stamp all the pictures taken with date on the pictures. Ideally the software should able to grap the date from the picture file properties and stamp them all automatically without me key in the date manually. Your recommendation is appreciated in advance. Thanks.

Pic Quality Comparable to Coolpix 3700

My old Coolpix 3700 just die after serving me for 4 years . I'm looking to replace it with new DC with budget below RM1000. I'm actually very happy with the quality of the picture taken by Coolpix 3700. I'm normally take family picture with 2-3m pixels. I bought 3700 because I did my research base on picture taken on the same spot with difference DC. For the last few year my friends and relatives were using Olympus u-Series, Canon IXUS series, Panasonic Lumix, Casio Exlim series, Sony Slim Series and Kodak (can't remember the model). In few occasions we able to snap on the same spot and compared the picture taken in the PC. So far my conclusions are:
For the outdoor : Nikon Coolpix = sharpest and more natural (my pick)
Kodak = vivid and less natural but the blue sky from Kodak really stand out
Canon = good too
For the indoor : My pick is Canon

Please note my comparison was done with most the DC within RM700 to RM1200 price range.

Can anyone recommend me a DC comparable to my old Coolpix within RM1000 budget? My main concern is the outdoor picture quality: sharp & natural. DC size isn't an issue to me, anything the size of Coolpix 3700 will do.
