i m currently using msi 7030 k8n neo 754 socket mobo and just bought 80 gb sata II hdd but mobo cant recognize hdd. is it mobo problem or hdd problem? pls help me.

i m planning to get new pc with budget of rm2500..

i went to my pc shop in lowyat and the sales person suggest me spec below..

AMD ATHLON 62 X 2 3800
KINGSTON DDR2 1G X 2
MSI K9N NEO-F
W.D. 80G HDD SATA ii HDD
MSI NVIDIA NX 8600GT 256MB PCI - E

i need suggestion here.
i m firm that i m going for amd instead of intel.

all i need is suggestion for mobo and graphic card. if you guyz know better spec with simmilar price range pls suggest me.( i dont need bigger hdd)

as an example i saw MSI 7600GT 512MB X8 with only rm50 price higher then above recommended vga card. since i m newbie all i know is that 7600 got 512mb but sales person suggest me itz old model although got higer ram.. if you guyz think paying rm50 more for much better performance i wont mind paying more but if i dont see any difference then just waste of money.

so can you guyz suggest me is this WISE spec to spend my money?
i m using this pc for games. eventhough i m a gal i m playing lots of action games like tiberium war and sometimes doom3 too... hehe..

shuffle charging

hi guyz,

got ipod shuffle as gift and need to ask you something. accoring to manual, if i insert usb to pc for charging, then when fully charged green light should be on. but only yellow light is blinking for 2hours which according to manual do not disconnect. will the light automatically off if fully charged? need guide for lights.

i charged shuffle for 8 hours and still cant see the green light. all i can see is the orange light. are you having same problem?

newbie here, need help...

p.s. i need help for itune too. if i wana turn off auto sync function, how can i do?

hi guyz,

i have one ipod shuffle and i wana buy a portable speaker that can operate with batteries without adapter or cables. i mean i dont like to buy big speakers but wana buy portable one that i can just listen when i m studying and so on.

i went to lowyat and saw small rechargable portable speaker but i dont like it.
after that i saw one sony speaker a long bean looks alike operating with two aaa batteries selling for rm 119 but sound was not loud enough. later i saw creative portable speaker operating with 4 aaa batteries. it looks kinda compact and selling for rm109 at sri computers. it can also operate with usb cable and with loud sound.
i want to ask anyone could suggest any better speaker or any shops selling various models in lowyat?
i need louder sound compact speaker not operating with power cable...

p.s. i forgot to ask one more thing. if a portable speaker powered by usb cable, then if i buy usb plug(i dont know how to call it) like convert ipod shuffle usb cable directly to normal power supply with other electronic items, can i use the speaker?

recently i wana purchase a PDA. i mean my good friend suggests me to buy a PDA. i mean i m doing secretary job and was suggested to buy PDA to make my work easier. but i m a gal and complete newbie in PDA, i m not so sure what are the good points having PDA? can i use dictionary in PDAs?

i dont wana PDA phone since i got good one. so please do suggest me good one without phone or gps function and good for my work.

ulead video studio problem

hi guyz,

i installed ulead video studio 9.0 which i like to play around with. then i wana upgrade with version 10.0 it seems all the functions in 9.0 seems not working in 10.0 . i mean as an expample, 9.0 has 20 funcitions in a certain category but 10.0 0nly has 9... even though i upgrade it with 10.0, it seems as if both of them are completely different programs since other programs simply upgrade from older version with better contents.

so is there any way i can use all the functions or technics in 9.0?

just next to dipalma hotel which next to ampang point.
my bro told me itz kinda good one with experience tutors. itz not home based tuition but tuition center for international student.
my brother searched lots of language centers likd erican and cambridge to learn chinese but he told me MJz best.

itz not advertisement. my friend recently told me some of lowyat members searching for good chinese tuition centers. so i m just recommending according to my brotherz own experience...

upgraded ram got problem

i have a computer and the specz as follows.

amd (64bit) 3000+
msi k8n neo mobo
2x 256 mb cosair ddr 333 ram
ati 9550 graphic card
audigy 2zs
..

i wana upgrade my pc since itz kinda while i used it. so i purchased kingsten 1g ddr 400 ram and put it into third ram slot.

so now my ram total 1.5 g but problemz that i cant feel any difference in speed. if i check system then it will say physical ram 1.5g.
i thought i can feel difference in speed if i add 1g ram (my mobo can support tatal 2g ram)
whatz happening to my pc??

i m using compaq nx5000 lappie. when i buy it sales person set admin password for cmos for me. now i wana alter some cmos and bios settings and i forgot the password. so i wana reset it by taking out battery which maintain cmos clock and settings but i cant find it.. anyone know where itz situated?

one more question.

at the back of laptop, it has big cover which it looks similar to cover which covers ram. so i opened it and it looks similar to ram but itz slightly bigger and has one white and black colored cable attatched to end of it. so i detatched them and take it out. but my lappie working fine since it wasnt ram. now i wana put it back and i forgot which color cable go which whole. black color one has label"main" which one lableled"aux". so what is it and which one goes where?

PQI U510 problem

got a u510 1gb flash memory. but problemz that it got preinstalled security program and i found out itz useless. so i wana remove it completely but i cant. i formatted usb but still autoloading the software.. anyone know how to completely remove it and use it as normal drive?

i m trying truecrypt 3.2 and problemz after i cancelled it, memory of my usb looks decreased. it means when my usb was 982mb now itz 965mb and when i format it it wont change... some people suggest me to use partition magic8.0 to format but pm8.0 wont detect my usb memory.. is there any program that can make my usb memory back?
