Hi , I have posted this on the Bb2user forum, but I will post it again in hope of an assistance of an Agent .

[Solved]Lowyat - ViewNet Problem

Hello

I have just recently bought a graphic card 560ti from Viewnet , Last Friday in fact.

But when I got back home , open up the box , I was surprised .
There is no manual , no instruction books, no Driver CD , no 3DMark 11 CD at all , no cable inside the box WTF
The only thing in the box is the graphic card itself, even the card plaster was opened too !!!!

As I am working now , I cannot go to Lowyat anytime I want , but I am very angry at this situation as I am unable to contact Viewnet now.
All of their listed Email addresses are not working.

Does anyone here, know any agent from ViewNet that can help me with the problem?
I feel extremely cheated for buying a Second-Handed card without all the component ,even driver CD robbed from me.

p/s: I still have the receipt ,boxes ,card and everything intact.

Before this I have heard of ViewNet having terrible services before , right now I am the victim ...

Hi there ,

I would like to seek a PC PRO 's advice on what to do on these circumstances.

MY PC SPEC : E8400 3.00 ghz
RAM : 3 GB
PSU : Silver Stride ST56F 560W ( 80% efficiency )
OS : Vista
Gpu : MSI 560 TI oc twin frz II

What happens :

I have recently get a graphic card 560 TI msi twin frzr ii ( 3 days ago ) . It was running fine on game.
Until recently I ran this game called DUNGEONS ,which is by no means a graphical intense game. However in one of the gaming session. My whole PC just got auto reboot, directly to the BIOS screen.
And I knew it had to be a hardware problem . Game crashes normally dont return you to the reboot screen.

What I want to know :

I cannot be sure if this is my PSU problem, if it is supplying enough power to run the card , I DO NOT do overclock on any of my hardware and only have a 500 GB HDD.
The recommendation of PSU for this card is 500W , so I assume the PSU should be fine as this is a pretty notable brand with over 80% efficiency.

But I am worried because I used to had problem like this on my previous card and I ignore it. By the time I figure it out the card is already out of warranty services.
If this is a graphic card problem, I wanted to take it back for exchange as I have just bought it , but it only happened 1 time so far and I am unable to replicate the situation.

1) Is there anyway to find out if this is the graphic card problem ,if so how?

2) Is there anyway to find out if this is the PSU problem and how ?

3) If this could be other hardware problem ?

Major Vista freezing problem [Solved]

Hello all , I have just purchased a PC a day ago, with the following specification.

Specification :

e8400 45 nm
Silver stone 560 w PSU
Gainward ati HD 4870
Corsair XMS 6400 2GB kit
Seagate 500GB
Gigabyte EP43-DS3

Problem :

1.It freeze randomly, starting from 2-30 minutes,after it freeze once, it tend to be more possible to freeze after.
2.It freeze especially more often when more memory / power from the pc is used,example installing a big game..etc.
3.When it freeze, pc become unresponsive, the only solution is power re-on or reset button.
4.When it freeze, it does not display any blue screen of death, and unable to verify which error it has caused in
Event viewer.
5.It can freeze even when I was trying to do a clean format install of Vista ,after it finish copying the files, and it
freeze when the screen display ' Trying to set your PC up' screen.
6.If I was playing music when it freeze ,the music will become supersonic soundwave which hurt my ears so
badly,as if it is a shriek of some sonic jet plane.
7.I try to do window memory diagnose on vista, the result is unable to display because it usually hang in the middle
of the process,however i saw it says in the status ' hardware problem detected , result will display after the test
finished' ,but I can't ever see the result because it has never finished without hanging

Additional notes :
I don't do overclocking on anything
I have never messed with my bios, it is a new PC
My window vista is genuine ,oem home basic 32bit.
I installed my OLD dvd rom drive with it, however I could verify it was not the cause as I removed it, the situation remains the same.
Nothing is installed in the PCI slots

Solved : Thank you to those that try to help to solve my problem, apparently the corsair ram indeed got issues with many mother boards clock speed was too fast for it to handle. I had the setting up to auto and I don't know why it auto set it ups to 800. Tuning down the speed to 677 greatly reduce the instability of the system,just when I was reading about the new gigabyte mobo bios that OC the speed up to 1300 mhz..

I am unable to figure out how I should explain all these to the shop that sells them to me either. As the freeze is too random,but for sure it freezes quite rapidly now.

Can anyone who is experienced in the field give me some advice on what I should do, atleast how to rectify the problem, if it is hardware or software , will be very much appreciated. thank you

In the latest conference of Square Enix DKS3713 gaming conference, who had promised to bring gamers more shocking news, have just taken place today in Japan. Famitsu and Japanese hardcore gamers who live blogs have already leaked the news to the public ,among them are :

-S.E have announced that its latest Parasite eve franchise , Parasite Eve 3 (a.k.a The 3rd birthday ) will be released on the year of 2009

-One of prestigious compilation in the Final Fantasy XIII series , Final Fantasy XIII -Agito will be coming to PSP platform as well aside from the Mobile phone release. The real time game scenes is also being shown in the conference, controlling the game with PSP.

-Final Fantasy XIII Demo will be included in the Blu Ray version of the remastered FFVII Advent children Complete.
Scheduled Release date : 2009 March

-FF13 demo has featured an all new Sephiroth-like character. He was standing next to Nomchan (unofficial name for Pigtails girl), who was wearing a hood.

Namco has officially announced Soul Calibur V.

There’s not many details available at the moment but we do know it’s coming sometime in 2012. Most likely for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
It was announced at the end of last year that a new Soul Calibur was in development. It was obviously Soul Calibur V but it’s nice to know that it’s officially confirmed now. Unfortunately, it looks like we might have to wait until E3 for anything significant.

For those of you that have been playing console rpg for a long time,
Phantasy Star series from the Sega should be no stranger to you.

The Phantasy star expansion series on was one of the first online RPG that was introduced by Sega during the Dreamcast Era . After seeing the gigantic success of the rise from Capcom's Monster Hunter series, Sega has planned to port its Playstation 2 Phantasy Star Universe to the PSP Handheld .

-On PSP the game will be named Phantasy Star Portable
-It will feature an all new story mode with original characters and extra missions
-Also coming with the game is a Multiplayer mode which supports cooperative gameplay up to 4 person.

Hi ,

I am not sure if this has been answered before,
I know Wii is region locked, for its games.

But what about its accessories ?
Let's say If i have a Jap Wii, but got a US 's wii mote ,is it gonna work the same way it does with the Japanese wiimote?

What about a Jap wii, a Jap nunchaku + US wii mote?
