Need Advice Job Description

Hello there,

I need some advice here. As right now economy is open back, but honestly speaking the company sales and movement is pretty darn slow. My company is small kinda lucky that our activities can cover almost all expenses and employee salary. The directors took a 50% paycut so he could fulfil everyone's salary during this moment and most of us are happy and willing to settle for that. But still regardless it's slower than usual. So in the past my company only operates 5 days, but with discussion we've agreed that we may need to operate 6 days and can't rely on "almost" cover expenses and salary. It's risky.

Directors agreed that during this moment we have to change from 5 days to 5.5 days (Sat half day).

But then , we have a general clerk who usually handles usual job from picking up phone calls, replying email, issuing invoice, fulfilling e-commerce orders and etc, refused to sign to the job description of change work-time policy. Furthermore, according to "her" she consulted her "lawyer friend" that this is not legal. So we tried to contact the kementerian sumber manusia and get some advice but with no avail.

One of the manager brought up the issue to let her go. My question here is, if she doesn't want to sign the new job description, is it legal that we terminate her contract of employment. Or the lawyer thing is just a bluff.

Hello there,

I need some info in regards to self quarantine being asked by company. Here's the situation

- My company wants to impose employees who return from doesn't matter anywhere via Plane to go on self quarantine for 14 days.
- Almost everyone is fine then suddenly there is a catch. It's going to be under NO PAY LEAVE.
- The reasoning by the management is "You know the risk, why do you want to travel".
- Company is very ADAMANT with the decision about it.
- It was a last minute meeting, so of course we didn't have the facts and details to negotiate.

My question is this even legal to begin with ? Personally it feels this is leaning all towards the management gain. There's no even discussion about work from home.

What do you guys think ?

[WTA] Salary & Education Tax

Hello there,

I'm not too sure is this the right place to ask but I'm in need of some advice.

The company I've worked at have decided to pay for my MSc education (oversea/online) yearly it's approximately MYR 30kper year. But when the EA form come out. This 30K have appeared in "B3 Manfaat berupa barangan"

I've kinda discussed with the HR department asking why is this suddenly in my EA form. They told me this is how it works. It kinda added quite a BIG BALLPARK figure to pay my tax .

Should I take my HR Manager word for it? This is according to the statutory ??

Have anyone here gone through this and can advise me is this correct?

Hello there,

Here is the situation. I'm a local dude, one of my partners is from Aussie and another from Germany. All 3 of us have an equal share of the Sdn Bhd company that we've set up here in Malaysia.

We've managed to open up an HSBC corporate account in Malaysia, but due to a few business dealing in Malaysia. Some vendor only wants to bank into local bank i.e. Maybank or CIMB, (some of you maybe thinking there's online inter-banking, but yet there are still customers prefer to the traditional method, it's their right and preference). To ease my customer burden we've decided to do that. Calling the bank for, they require the presence of 3 directors. Myself would be easy but getting my partners to be here at the same time it's quite challenging, and we've been dwindling to schedule for the past 6 months with no avail. I was thinking of resigning the other 2 directors, to open the local bank account but they are uncomfortable with it. Fair enough.

Does anyone here knows is there a way that I can open the corporate bank account without the other 2 directors to be here. Would put them as "Non-Executive Director" help? As they are still in the papers (Form 9 bla bla bla) Does anyone have experience in this?

Hey, everyone!

I need some advice for dog food brand due to the rising cost of living; I don't think I can afford Merrick Dry Food for my two dogs. There are tonnes of brands which can be quite daunting to choose and every pet shop are certain their this brand is the "BEST". Can anyone recommend me a slightly cheaper alternative for Merrick with good nutritional Value? I usually either mix Merrick's wet food with the dry one or mixed with home cooked dog food (chicken heart, some liver, carrots and potatoes)

[WTA] Earned Annual Leave

Hello there

I need some help and opinion on this .

I'll break it down in point format:
- My company this year 2014 suddenly changed to Earned Annual Leave system.
- Chinese New Year Eve on the 30th was paid leave (fair enough) but from the 3rd Feb until 5th Feb our company wasn't open so we are force to take "compulsory" leave . Thus automatically deduct Annual Leave
- I've only worked for the company for 4 years (12 day leave entitlement , yeah our company use the minimum)
- February Salary the 3 days Compulsory Leave automatically becomes NPL because there wasn't enough Earned Leave

Here is my issue:-
- Can my company do this ?
- I've felt very cheated due to there was no memo or any details mentioning there will be a change from the usual Entitlement to the Earned System.
- Despite we are forced to take leave , shouldn't it be fair if was given at least an "advance leave" and deduct as time goes

I need help here What can I do about it ? Is this the right way to calculate this matter ?

Stacking Different Brand

Hey there,

I need some advice on Stacking different brand of protein. Here is my situation.

As for this month i have been working out for exactly a year . But learning on supplemental protein it's still relatively pretty new to me.

I've been taking syntha-6 and thermonex for the past 4 months and initially it was just for weight lost and nutritional support. I have an extremely strict diet which is something like this:

As time go I wanted to improve now on all side of workout (strength, stamina, flexibility and etc)and just last month i've started this workout program called the P90X by Tony Horton and those workout he've created are BUTTKICKING 7 days a week workout. I was used just working out 3 times a week and trying this workout have put a strain on my Syntha-6 intake and it's been very fast. Syntha-6 i would say it's relatively expensive comparing to other brand, so i've decided to try Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey. Currently i have another bottle of Syntha-6 and now with a new bottle of ON Whey. Taste wise i would still prefer Syntha 6 .

I just need some opinion is would it be safe to consume both of these different brand protein mixing in with so many other supplements i'm taking ? Sometimes i just fear that i'll intoxicate myself

I find this is one of a very important topic in life. regarding to Ironmaiden's Topic it's sorta narrowed down to only Premature Ejaculation (PE). There are plenty of things I believe everyone is willing to share but restricted with that topic.

Let me start.

Problem: Crooked Arm (After Accident)
Traditional Family Remedy: Massage (2-4 weeks)

Location/Story: I had a friend who had a terrible motorcycle accident. And when he was admitted to the hospital the Dr Said that his Arm the bone was fractured terrible that even though they can fix it but his arm could never be straight again.

He was recommended to this old man who can fix this. He was VERY skeptical about this. The location they say it's near the border of Negeri Sembilan. And with a few massages his hand was straightened and I was amazed.

When he went looked for him I've heard he have passed on. His son carries his legacy of that special massage but have moved to a different location.

Hello ..

I've saw at my friends house which (he doesn't reside anymore) got this little device that can control ASTRO remotely. Lets take example

TV A (Decode) Living Room
TV B His Room

When TV A is not watching astro like playing Games or watching DVD. He can watch it on TV B and he can control astro with this funny little remote (receiver) on top of TV. I wanna ask him but the problem is he's already migrated to somewhere else Does anyone here know what this little device is called.
