hi,

i am having an unlocked iphone 3G, OS 2.2, JB-ed and quickpwn-ed

i recently upgraded to 3.0, and made a huge mistake by installing a certain patch.
now my phone doesn't boot up after the apple logo, and itunes 8.2 doesn't recognize my phone in recovery mode.

i've exhausted all means of salvaging the phone. anyone else have any idea what to do with it?

Hi all,

i'm writing a rough review about the new Toyota Rush my family had just bought and came in today. we already have an existing Toyota Avanza 1.3.

Drive
Feels the same, not much difference compared to the Avanza, a bit of a drag during pickup. Has shiftronic gear which has overdrive shift only on 3rd gear.

Design and Exterior Construct
Solid and impressive looking (we ordered black colour). slightly taller than Avanza.

Interior
Falls way below expectations. Additional compartments and minor details are extras, but quality-wise alot of things were shakey like the handbrake, storage compartments between front seats and side seats, quality of doors inside are below par. beige for interior colour is a bit off if you have black colour for exterior, material is just ok.

Overall, in my opinion it's better to get the Perodua Nautica. More features, more solid construction overall, although shame on the fuel consumption (1.5 4WD)
Anyone with other opinions?

gf and i planning to change our phones. we both use HTC Touch atm (very old, yes we know). now thinking of either one of the aforementioned models. anyone can state choice, pls include reason why (pls no superficial reasons like "because i like the phone, so i choose that one"), if can include price tag and specific features that makes it superior to the other, etc. other phone model suggestions also welcome. thanks.

i recently opened a savings account, and i got myself a Maybank Visa Debit Card. i tried to purchase a t-shirt from threadless.com to see if i could use it, but they declined my card. is it because:

a) my card is still new? (i registered 2 days before)
b) there is insufficient funds in my account (it currently has RM250, the amount i'm trying to purchased totaled up to about RM95).

if its a), how long does it take until i am able to shop online? if its b), what is the minimum amount for me to use it?
