From apple website link as shown

iPad Air
The power of lightness
All-new design. A ton of advanced technology. In just one pound.
You have to hold iPad Air to believe it. It’s just 7.5 millimeters thin and weighs just one pound. The stunning Retina display sits inside thinner bezels, so all you see is your content. And an incredible amount of power lies inside the sleek enclosure. So you can do so much more. With so much less.

Does even more. Weighs even less.
The new iPad Air is unbelievably thin and light. And yet it’s so much more powerful and capable. With the A7 chip, advanced wireless, and great apps for productivity and creativity — all beautifully integrated with iOS 7 — iPad Air lets you do more than you ever imagined. In more places than you ever imagined.
All-new design. Leaner. And definitely meaner.
iPad Air is impossibly thin but incredibly solid thanks to its aluminum unibody design. It dropped almost a quarter of the volume of the previous-generation iPad. So it weighs just one gravity-defying pound. But what makes iPad Air truly remarkable is that it packs so much more power and capability into its sleek enclosure. So you can do even more with it, while carrying even less with you. Learn more about the design.

Retina display. So much to see. So little to hold.
iPad has always been about the display. And that’s even more true with iPad Air. Because we reduced the width of the device, along with the bezels on the sides of the display. But the size of the stunning Retina display is exactly the same. So your content fills your view more than ever. With a 2048-by-1536 resolution and over 3.1 million pixels, photos and videos pop with detail and text looks razor sharp. Pixels are indiscernible. So all you see is what you want to see. Learn more about the Retina display

Sometimes the best design is the one you hardly notice.
We believe that your content should be the focus of your experience. And everything else should disappear. Even the device itself.

iPad Mini Link
iPad mini with Retina Display
Small wonder.

Beautiful 7.9-inch Retina display. The difference has never been clearer.
iPad mini with Retina display is amazing to hold. And behold. Every photo is incredibly detailed and vibrant, and every line of text is remarkably crisp and clear. With higher resolution than an HDTV, it’s stunning — on a whole new scale.

We’ve expanded the definition of mini.
iPad mini was designed to give you nothing less than the full iPad experience. So when we thought about which enhancements to bring to the new iPad mini, there was only one answer: all of them. We packed a Retina display, the A7 chip, the M7 coprocessor, advanced wireless, and more into its small form. It has a huge amount of power and capability, but it’s still nice and mini.

How do 3 million pixels fit into 7.9 inches? Brilliantly.
To bring the Retina display to iPad mini, we had to find a way to pack every one of the 3.1 million pixels from the 9.7-inch iPad into a 7.9-inch display. Every pixel in a display has multiple signals telling it when to light up. And with a 2048 x 1536 resolution display, more pixels and more signals are placed closer together on the same plane, so signals can get crossed and image quality can suffer. To make sure everything on iPad mini looks crystal clear, Apple engineers elevated the pixels onto a different plane — separating them from the signals. In the end, the pixel density jumped to 326 pixels per inch — so dense the human eye can’t distinguish individual pixels — making everything look incredibly detailed, vibrant, and razor sharp.

We maximized the inside. The outside is still mini.
iPad mini was designed to be a concentration, rather than a reduction, of iPad. It’s small. But when you use it, it doesn’t feel small. In addition to the Retina display, we packed in a tremendous amount of power and capability. And yet iPad mini remains the perfect mini size. That’s because we reengineered nearly every component. And shaved fractions of millimeters everywhere to keep iPad mini thin and light. It feels like an iPad in every way — only it’s mini.

Why This Apple Lover Sold His iPad

QUOTE

It was a strange twist in my computing habits. When I first got my iPad, I found myself using it more than my MacBook. I would come home from work and use my iPad to catch up on news and Twitter. At night, I'd use it to stream Netflix in bed. I really only used my MacBook if I needed to do some work from home. It was essentially just a word processor to me.

So, what happened?

I started using my iPad less and less this year mostly because I started working a lot more when away from the office. For writers, an iPad isn't an ideal device to get things done, even with one of those cool keyboard accessories. I still need a full-fledged PC to do my job well, as I suspect people in many other professions do.

read the full article at Business Insider. It is up to the retailer to replace your defective unit.
If you bought your iPhone from Apple’s online store you might have a better chance of getting a replacement for your defective iPhone 5 but for everyone else, it all comes down to luck.

Sauce

When buying your iPhone 5, check for the condition as follows before you leaving the counter, if got defects, some can change some cant change, depends on your nego skill and luck...

Tools
1. flash light (handphone type) or under bright light
2. your eyes
3. calm and detailed mind
4. free time

Procedures
1. Check the box is completely unseal set, check is the capacity and colour you want, check serial and imei with invoice before open the box (if applicable)
2. check for any scuffs or dents at chamfer and edges
3. check for any scratches at front and back
4. check any chips at lightning dock area
5. shake the phone and use your ears to hear, some of the units have rattling sound, not sure is normal or not, using google they say either is loose power button or loose battery, or is vibrator sound, yet to clarify (UPDATE: some say is power button, if this is so, holding the button and shake it the sound is gone. Else, mostly they say is vibrator sound due to its design (same with iP, when shake sideways, facing the back of the phone to your ear, you will hear it. The solution is stop shaking it )

Power up the phone
1. check if any dead pixels
2. check if any back-light bleeding issues
3. activate the phone
4. test camera
5. check capacity, serial and imei code

Reminder
1.
