Accident badly, should repair or scrap? Pls Help

Hi,

Had an accident badly, avanza model first generation (2005 - 230k++ km millage )

Insurance is 3rd party.

the car currently is at a one of the workshop that we know, and he briefly quote without listing the item saying requires around 8k

should i scrap the car or should proceed to fix? if scrap how do i get a quotation of how much im able to get from selling parts n metals?

i wanted to get second opinion on the repair cost but the car is not able to move anymore, other workshop says the only way to quote is to see the car, with just picture they cannot estimate the cost.

what should i do?
