Yesterday, I wanted to purchase something off Amazon using Paypal and it was unsuccessful many times. This morning, I wanted to buy movie tickets through Paypal and it was unsuccessful too. I called up CIMB and they told me that they blocked Paypal since last week due to numerous complaints of suspicious activities. WTF!?

Anyone has this problem?

Unreliable Renovation Firm/Bad Customer Service

I just want to vent my frustration here. I recently enlisted the help of MH Power Engineering through Lowyat to install some items in my house which requires drilling. It was just a simple task of making holes in the wall and hang the items. We agreed on the specific day to carry out the tasks which I applied leave, seek approval from the condo management and even double confirmed so that they would do it. However, the lady who is in charged suddenly bailed on me and messaged me during midnight saying that she had other "business deals" and cancelled promptly but rescheduled 5 days later. I was angry and confronted her of her irresponsibility and unprofessionalism.

I told her that if she wouldn't do her job then I wouldn't recommend her company at all due to her unreliability. I said I would ask the condo management to not use her service for future endeavor for other tenants. Instead of apologizing, this lady whose name is Gail, lashed out at me saying that I'm cyberbullying her and her company can sue me because I threatened to leave a bad review (serious?). She went on to say they only handle big businesses and she only accepted my request because she was kind enough. Furthermore, she attacked me on a personal level, saying that I was childish and very embarrassing that I dunno how to drill a wall. I was like WTF? Subsequently, she just asked me to find another contractor to do the job. Seriously, I think I really need some background check before enlisting people's help.

This is the detail of the company
MH Power Engineering
Block J3,
Persiaran Kewajipan, Court 6
Subang Jaya

Please be wary when approaching this company. Their customer service is BAD!

Need someone to hang paintings, shelves, rails, etc

I just moved to KL and I'm currently rented a whole apartment. I bought a quite a number of items that need to be hung up or secured on the wall. I asked the owner to recommend people to help me but instead he asked me to find those contractors myself. I want to do it myself but I do not have the tools nor the skills to handle the task. Furthermore, I don't want to ruin the wall or tiles if I'm not careful. I'm also new to the city so I do not know who I should I call to do this minor jobs. Can someone recommend contractors who do not mind to take on this minor tasks? Much help is appreciated.

Looking for gym around IMU

Just moved to here recently and not really familiar with the area here. I know there's a gym in Carrefour nearby but I think that is too expensive for me especially you can't pay it by monthly basis. I prefer a ghetto gym, cheap, easy and reliable.

Sprained Ankle

I sprained my ankle quite badly during yesterday ice skating session. I thought I can handle today's workout with a sprained ankle instead it worsen it.

I tried to put some ices on it to lessen the pain but it's not working and the pain intensifies due to the scratched off skin. There are some clinics around

my place but I don't think they deal with sprained ankle. Any method can help in speed recovery because next week I'm gonna accompany my mom

(who comes all the way from Kuching to visit me) for sightseeing and do some serious shopping.

Funny Sex Joke

The Smiths were unable to conceive children and decided to use a surrogate
father to start their family. On the day the surrogate father was to
arrive, Mr. Smith kissed his wife and said, "I'm off. The man should be
here soon" Half an hour later, just by chance a door-to-door baby
photographer rang the doorbell, hoping to make a sale.

"Good morning, madam. I've come to...."
"Oh, no need to explain. I've been expecting you," Mrs. Smith cut in.
"Really?" the photographer asked. "Well, good. I've made a speciality of
babies"
"That's what my husband and I had hoped. Please come in and have a seat"

After a moment, she asked, blushing, "Well, where do we start?"
"Leave everything to me. I usually try two in the bathtub, one on the
couch and perhaps a couple on the bed. Sometimes the living room floor is
fun too; you can really spread out!"
"Bathtub, living room floor? No wonder it didn't work for Harry and me"
"Well, madam, none of us can guarantee a good one every time. But, if we
try several different positions and I shoot from six or seven different
angles, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results"
"My, that's a lot of....." gasped Mrs. Smith.
"Madam, in my line of work, a man must take his time. I'd love to be in
and out in five minutes, but you'd be disappointed with that, I'm sure"
"Don't I know it," Mrs. Smith said quietly.

The photographer opened his briefcase and pulled out a portfolio of his
baby pictures.
"This was done on the top of a bus in downtown London"
"Oh my God!" Mrs. Smith exclaimed, tugging at her handkerchief.
"And these twins turned out exceptionally well, when you consider their
mother was so difficult to work with"
"She was difficult?" asked Mrs. Smith.
"Yes, I'm afraid so. I finally had to take her to Hyde Park to get the job
done right. People were crowding around four and five deep, pushing to get
a good look"
"Four and five deep?" asked Mrs. Smith, eyes widened in amazement.
"Yes," the photographer said, "And for more than three hours too. The
mother was constantly squealing and yelling. I could hardly concentrate.
Then darkness approached and I began to rush my shots. Finally, when the
squirrels began nibbling on my equipment, I just packed it all in."
Mrs. Smith leaned forward. "You mean squirrels actually chewed on your,
um......equipment?"
"That's right. Well, madam, if you're ready, I'll set up my tripod so we
can get to work."
"Tripod?????"
"Oh yes, I have to use a tripod to rest my Canon on. It's much too big for
me to hold for very long. Madam? Madam? ....... Good Lord, she's
fainted!!"
Angelus's Fledgeling Journal

Welcome to my humble world of working out. For those who know or don't know me, I used to be very fat. However, I managed to shed off 20++kg which was like a dream come true. That was my first goal and I managed to achieve it with proud. Anyway, I'm setting my new goal now, which is:

GOALS:
1. Substitute those leftover fats with muscle mass.
2. Build a nice and defined abdominal muscle.
3. At least has 3 girls having a crush on me and I'm that insensitive jerk who has no clue about it or don't have the slightest feeling for them.
4. Kill a boar with my bare hands.
5. World domination with my sweet sweet muscle.

Ok. That's about it. I think I'm gonna have some problems with goal number 3 but others sound alright.

1st Day 16/08/08 (Prepare to face hell)
Workout:
7:00am - 1 hour of jogging. When I feel tired, I just walked until my strength recovered.
Exceptionally tiring since this is my first day or working out. My legs are so sore that I wobbled when I stood.

12:00am
Sit-ups - 50 times
Crunches - 50 times
I slept very late because I have some readings to do. Before sleep, I always do crunches and sit-ups. It's has become my habits.

Meals:
08:00am - 1 bowl of cereal, 1 glass of milk.

12:00pm - Bread with peanut butter and cheese.

06:00pm - Wantan Noodles.

Oh shit, I actually ate 3 meals . Ok, 1 to be precise. Oh, I remembered, I was watching 2 movies with my friends at KLCC, WALL - E and Zohan from 1pm to 6pm. The movies were nice. It's totally understandable to skip meal.

Oh this is the picture of me taken by my webcam. It's kinda blurry but if you take my picture with a high-tech ultrashot camera with supreme sharpness, you can actually see my distinct features of Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Too bad it was taken by a webcam but I still look nice. This is a photo of me collapsing in front of my books when I was so tired reading them for 3 hours.
[attachmentid=563842]

[addedon]August 19, 2008, 10:18 pm[/addedon]2nd Day 17/08/08 (Meeting the Big Daddies for the First Time)

My very first day of gym. I was really excited. ( Excited as in 99.9% nervousness, 0.01% feeling troublesome) It's like a feeling of helplessness as you're walking to a butcher factory.

Meals:
08:00am
A bowl of cereal, a glass of milk, 2 hard boiled eggs and a piece of bread. (Pre-workout meal)

10:00am
A glass of milk and some breads. (Post-workout meal)

06:00pm
Chicken fried rice with Ice lemon tea.

Wow, look at it, it doesn't take a genius to figure it out that this diet is such a mess. From 10am to 6pm, I was so absorbed in reading that I forgot to eat.

Workouts
8:00am
Since it was first day, I didn't really know what to do and what not to do in the gym.

Squat
Just testing my strength first without the weights.
2x15 (Just the iron bars)
2x15x5kg (OMG, I suck)

Bench Press
4x15x5kg (I totally suck. Even with this weights, I had trouble passing the last 3-4 repetitions)

Deadlift
4x15x10kg

Seated Overhead Press
2x15x5kg
2x12x5kg (I got lazy and super tired)

Chins
0
The website states that I should do 12 reps of chins in my first month of workout. WTF!!! I just skipped it.

Crunch (My favourite work out)
4x20

Cycling 20minutes

12:00am
50 sit-ups
50 crunches

I felt like shit after the workouts. My whole body hurt and I just laid on my bed reading. I couldn't stand or walk.

[addedon]August 19, 2008, 10:58 pm[/addedon]3rd Day 18/08/08 (Pain and Sore Day)
Workout:
08:00am
1 hour jogging
This was super exhausting. I hated it. The pain and soreness from yesterday workout won't subside. Damn it, I had to carry the pain while running. The progress was much much slower. I felt like my legs were broken off once I finished my mark.

12:00am
50 sit-ups
50 crunches

Meals:
09:00am
2 hard boiled eggs, 1 bowl of cereal, 1 piece of bread, 1 glass of milk. (This breakfast is getting monotonous, I want to eat something else)

12:00pm
I glass of milk, bread with tuna.

06:00pm
Black pepper fish rice.

8:00pm
Bananas and milk.

Crap. No veggies. I really need to cook at home instead of eating outside.

[addedon]August 20, 2008, 12:31 am[/addedon]4th Day 19/08/08 (Crowded Day)

Meals
10:00am
Woke up really late. I was having insomnia due to the throbbing pain at my leg muscle.
2 hard boiled eggs, 1 bowl of cereal, 1 glass of milk, 1 piece of bread.

02:00pm
Thai chicken chop rice, some veggies

05:00pm
1 glass of milk, bananas (pre-workout meal)

07:00pm
Chicken wing rice, Ice lemon tea (post-workout meal)

12:00am
A glass of milk

Workouts:

05:00pm
Bench press
4x15x5kg

Squat
4x15x10kg

Deadlift
2x15x10kg
1x12x12.5kg
1x10x15kg

Barbell curl
2x15x10kg
1x12x12.5kg
1x10x15kg

Tricep Extension
1x12x10kg

Chin
0, again

20 reps crunches

20 minutes cycling

12:00am
50 sit-ups
50 crunches

Today was a really busy day. I stayed at the college library from 11am to 4pm just to study for my exam. It's getting harder and harder to keep on. By the way, the gym is pretty crowded.

My dilemma in working out

I was always the fat kid who finished last at any sport. I shunned all the sports and exercises which require me to sweat and pant. Being overweight has taken its toll on me ( heaviest record, 105kg at 1.8m tall ), it dramatically reduced my confidence in front of people, I felt miserable, ashamed and anguish of my appearance. Having people called you "fatass", "pig" etc was not the worst part, but knowing yourself could calmly accept their cruel remarks and couldn't do anything about it was indeed sad. Blame it on my black hole-like insatiable appetite or my bloodline where chubbiness is our family famous trait. Hey, at least I'm a heavy nerd who is good in studies. Brain and brawn never co-exists ( If you have both, f*** you )

Anyway, I was so fed up about myself I decided to change. After SPM, with so much time on my hand, I tried to lose some weight (BURN IN HELL FATS!). Through sheer determination and hardworks and lots of researches, I managed to shed off 24kg in about 4 months . Of course, I did it naturally without any pills or drugs. I just don't trust them, they smell fishy, it's like you can develop AIDS any second just by consume them. Although I shrank 5 sizes, my tummy is still chubby and I still have the 3 layers meat hanging around but I look much nicer now with my flat stomach.

All that happened before I moved to Wangsa Maju, KL from Sarawak to study at TAR College. Right now, I'm totally screwed. All my working out plans and schedules are pretty much messed up with all the hectic college life, assignments, clubs, and oh ya, tomorrow's f***ing exam. My diet plan is being flushed out through the toilet since I seldom ( or should I say never ) cook at home, so I sometime (or should I say always) eat at the cafe, really miss my mom's cooking...... The dreaded nightmares of me being fat again haunt me every night.

Luckily, I have a week of holiday starting from Saturday, so I maybe able to sort all my problems out. Currently, I'm thinking trying out for a gym but I'm a total newbie about it. My ultimate goal: A well defined, chiseled and rock hard 6 packs which is absolutely million light years away and no doubt out of my league. I know, I know........it's easier being said than done but at least I need to say it before anything can be accomplished. Seriously, I'm total new to this working out thing. For Christ's sake, after skimming through some of the threads, I have no idea what are the meaning of some of the terms you hardcore people use here. ( What the hell is HIILT?? How the hell squatting can increase you muscle mass?? You just basically squatting!! And why the names of those fancy workout move so damn hard to understand..... "Military standing press 45 degree bench press with dip blah blah blah" ) I also don't how to operate those fancy equipments in the gym, except the dumbbells, where you basically hold it with your hand and curl your arm until you feel your whole arm falling off, right? So, I hope that people can show me how to use the equipments instead of letting sign my own death contract by leaving me alone. First thing first, I need to find a good gym with good facilities I can work with. A nice environment where everyone is friendly and can teach me how to work out. And please don't stare at me as if I'm some kind of idiot who don't even know how to use the weights. Intimidate and taunt me with your bulky muscle is also a big NO NO, I might just bite it off. I'm not local so I might not know where the hell is that gym located so please give me some clear directions. If you wanna show me around, it's fine since I have a week of holiday.

There are some questions I'm meaning to ask.
Do I have to lose some fats first before really going to the gym? I have a wavy stomach and flabby arms.
Does sit up help to build abdominal muscle? I did it everyday just to burn off my calories because I couldn't find my time to jog right now. 5 sets with 20 repetitions each with 1 minute interval .
Do I need to train my strength first? ( I suck at strength training, I barely pass 10 push ups )
Are people in the gyms total douchebags who like to show off their body? (I know you wanna show it off)
How many times do I need to go to the gym to work out as a beginner?

OMG! it's so late now. Need to sleep or I might faint during my exam.
Cannot log in to router

I just bought a D-Link G router and I manage to set it up. Now, I need to log into my router to configure the settings. The browser address is http://192.168.0.1 according to the manual. I typed my username "admin" and leave the password part blank in order to log in (again, according to the manual). After all the twitching and typing, I managed to set up a network. My laptop receives the wireless connection perfectly without leaving any sweat. Then, it's reboot time....

The problem starts here. After the reboot, I was prompted to type in username and password again. However, it keeps saying I have the wrong password or username after I typed it in. It seems really strange since I never change my router password or username previously. No matter how many times I try to log in, I have the same frustrating result. Luckily, there is a reset button in the router which looks like a hole where you need to insert somethings small to push the button. I thought my problem was solved when I reset the router but I was dead wrong.

Username : admin
Password : *blank*

But I can't log in!!!!! It says wrong username and password no matter how many time I try....... All the things are reseted and now I can't log in!!!!!
