Hi Guys,

Less than 1 year and I need your experience and opinions again.

I just received an offer letter from the government for a J41 position at Kementerian Kerja Raya and i dont know whether to take it or not. Ok briefly about my current career and life, age 33, currently at Middle income level, Job position mechanical engineer(Project engineer) at an MNC company. Good pay and Good benefits. Current Stress level manageable due to Covid-19, project a lot cancelled as budget cuts. Currently in probation for a permanent position. Owh BTW thanks to you guy for providing opinion on this job. Iam thinking about taking the G job but theres a few cons.
1) salary will be back to lower income, i dont have any big commitment. So its not a big problem, but about rm2k lower.
2) afraid of stagnant career in goverment
3) politics, not to good at it.

Pros
1) iron bowl
2) less stress
3) pension

Ive conducted a pool regarding to the position on my social media and about 80% say yes to it, but i also consider the 20% who say no to it. Just dont want to gamble of life changing experience.

For the salary i have checked and i may could request for higher starting salary for my experience based on the below hyperlink

However dont know la whether the boss approved it and when to apply for it.

Career Dilemma

Hi all,

Iam in dilemma of choosing work between two companies. The reason i left the current job is due to stress as working in different environment as previously i was a Project Engineer/NPI.

Thus i need opinion on choosing offers provided by 2 different companies in 2 different industries

Oil and Gas Company
Site Visit Able.
Good review in Jobstreet
Future career development
Handling O&G equipment

Heavy Industry Company
Metal Industry
No site visit - a bit boring maybe
Lower review in Jobstreet
Better salary and benefits
Handling factory machine and development

If the benefits and salary gap is not that much, i will chose the Oil and Gas, but the difference is quite big. Hope you guys could provide opinions.

4x6 inch speaker

So currently my car is using 4x6 inch speaker,and its about 21years old. Can you ICE expert here please tell me where to get 4x6 inch speaker?
Why i need them?because i dont want to modifiend the bracket for the front side speaker.

Ive got an offer to work at Def Tech Drb Hicom in S.Alam Seksyen 15,but the problem is that they offer me to work there about few weeks ago,maybe on the 27th of march and they asked me to work on 1st april.

So now the problem is they said that they cant give me offer letter yet since the CEO haven't signed it yet.ok fair enough.So after a few weeks.2 weeks,ive called an insider and they told me that m going to work on the 1st of May.sigh.

So my question is,is anyone of u got an offer from them?got the offer letter yet?
