HDMI to VGA Converter

I am currently using a HDMI to VGA converter supplied by the laptop manufacturer to connect to 22" LCD monitor.

However, the output on the monitor screen is not as sharp which can be a struggle at times looking at spreadsheets and etc.

Hence, I would like to ask if there is a better quality converter out there or all the converters are the same.
