Laptop suddenly go to blank

I have an ACER Aspire 4710. The adapter light is ok. The only thing thats not ok is, i cant see the light at the laptop on when i use the adaptar. anyone knows wats the problem? i dont think its recharging the battery also. what do i have to check fir?st. FYI, i have been using the laptop for one year.

Why do you choose that brand of ur camera? why do you choose Canon? why do you choose NIkon? etc...etc. not to start a war here but, im a newb in cameras but would like to buy myself a DSLR camera in the future. I already "test drive" my friends NIKON but havent tried other brand of cameras, especially the camera from CANON. is it something about user friendly settings, price and etc....etc.......?

my office is planning to by NAS, any recommendations? for now can see the D-Link DNS-323 2-Bay Network Storage Enclosure as the best solution. one of my friends told me synology is better, but a bit pricy.

Hardware not detected

my friends ask me to check her notebook. In the beginning, it cant even boot up, check and found that the cable was no longer functioning. than found that, there is no sound and modem also. check device manager, none. is there a possibility that the hardwares are damaged.

if i format the OS will it be detected than?

- storage

for now the best "candidate" is from DELL, Poweredge SC440.... is it ok? any other recommendations?

what is the different s between a SCSI HDD and a normal ATA HDD? .......... do we really need to use a SCSI HDD for a server in the office.... ?

i would like to know, can i actually plug in a external HDD via USB to a server..... this external HDD will act as an extra storage of data/files. can i proceed with this method? or i really hv to buy a SCSI HDD?

morning....

i hv a Dimension 5150 desktop, problem is i cant use my DVD writer. in explorer .... its detected as a dvdwriter.....but when i want to install a burning software...it will say ;

"No compatible Recordable or Rewritable devices could be found on your system."

any ideas wat to do?

Morning

i have 17" Flat Monitar (Samsung)............yesterday.....when it goes to screen saver mode.... in normal kind of manner i just move my mouse as usual to lit up the monitor.........suddenly it went blank.....n made a whizzing kind of noise..........
couple of times i tried to on the monitor....then ok...but after that blank ..... and whizzing again.

any experience on this kind of prob?

external HDD cant open

My external HDD cant open the normal double click open in explorer. if i try to double click, it will say, acces denied. An alternative way was to right click and select open. there is an extra command when i right click, it shows "Autoplay".

i already use Mobile antivirus, Flash Disinfector and also AVG anti-spyware.....success but everytime i connect the external HDD ..... the prob will reappear . There was no indication of viruses when i scan with AVG anti virus.

wat can i do to access the external normally....thank u

Hi guys, sory for not filling all the details. i just hv a simple question here. i connect this pc in the office to the network and also to the internet..........and it shows the connection is 10mbps not 100mbps. why is that? and can i change any settings so the speed can be 100mbps.

need help guys.

my iswara...the new black one....cant start. i installed a new battery,GP but there is no lights on the display, no lights when i open the door, WTF....its like there is no battery at all. but the weird thing is my central lock seems to be function. i tried the new battery at my friends car and it works. can anyone help by guiding me wat the heck that i hv to check b4 i send the car to the workshop.
