Home Plug + TV

Hi all,

I own a Sharp 835x tv at home while my Unifi modem/router is located in the kitchen.

I am thinking if it is possible to connect to the internet on my TV without the use of Wifi Dongle, but using homeplug. The idea is to use a homeplug connected to my modem, then another homeplug will be located at the tv area and a LAN cable will connect from the Home Plug to my TV.

Is this doable and has any of you done so? I've checked with the IT guy at Harvey Norman and he says it cannot be done. If not, can you suggest what can i do? Basically my modem/router is located in the kitchen is because the Unifi box is located there and i didnt want to pull a long wire from the kitchen to the living room.

Does anyone know where we can buy kitchen hood ducting at reasonable price? Seems like ppl are selling at Rm150-Rm250, which seems so overpriced.

Friend is asking .. she bought a new kitchen hood and hob set already, but contractor said they wanna do the ceiling boxup first and is asking for the ducting now. Checked with the store and was told can only get it in a week's time.

Any solutions to this? Thanks

I have several questions :-

1) If i sell my property, should i use my own lawyer or use the buyer's lawyer (to save on legal fees) ?

2) If i use buyer's lawyer, is it true i do not have to pay any legal fees?

3) If i use my own lawyer, will my lawyer charge me the same normal fees as a buyer (excluding the stamp duty, MOT etc)? What is the fees that the lawyer will charge me as a seller (buyer use his own lawyer) ?

Question abt Laminated flooring

Hi.

While doing Defect checks, i noticed that at the sides of the wall, when i step on the laminated flooring harder, i noticed that there is white powder coming out between the gap of the laminated flooring and the wall wooden skirt (called baseboard i think) ... is this normal ?

What should i take note when i check the laminated flooring?

Hi property sifus,

Which package do you think is more worth it ?

Bank A : BLR - 2.3%, loan legal fees, stamp duty and valuation is paid by bank

Bank B: BLR - 2.4%, legal fees pay your own.

If factoring in the fact that have current loan with Bank B, when selling off the property i want to request for penalty waiver. Most likely 50% off only.

Which one do you think is more worth it ?
