Why my wall so incredibly dusty?

I've been facing this problem ever since I painted my house. All the wall turn to very dusty like it's all in grey or white colour. No smoker in the house and the windows are closed most of the time.

At first I thought it's because I'm using matt finish paint, but today when I go to a paintshop to try to get Gloss/Sheen Paint (after 5 years), because I thought it would solve the problem. But the salesperson said it should be because of darker colour easier to catch dust. I do agree some of the points but will it be so serious like shown in the picture?

Anyone experience same problem like mine? Will gloss paint solve the problem? Or did the salesperson correct?

But I never seen people washing their wall before this. Do you guys wash/clean your wall occassionally?

Do you guys ask the electrician to do so?

What if electrician says he doesn't know how to do it? Can we request people from TM to do it?
