Anime Gathering is back with more excitement and fun! A unique theme of Sakura Gakuen 桜学園, experience the life of a student in Anime style! Come and join in the Anime community this new semester in September, meet new friends, gather together, enjoy performances, Cosplay in your proud costumes, dress up in Japanese fashion Lolita, Visual Kei, Yukata/kimono etc and display your collections of figures, figmas, gunplas, dolls, anime merchandises or even plushies! XD oops not to miss out bloggers and photographers too get the chance to take photos with all these wonderful models

At long last, a year passed since SAMS last Anime Gathering in Kuching Now we see news about it lol…

Everybody.. Be prepared for a much more enhanced entertainment of Anime Gathering 2009 :3

All anime lovers, Cosplayers, figure collectors, gunpla assemblers, even those that likes photography (some collections will be displayed) are most welcomed XD Not excluding bloggers and everyone else in Kuching who are interested to go because.. the event is opened to ALL~~~~!

Once again Anime Gathering will be held or this year! On 6th December 2008, 6.30pm-9.30pm where Anime lovers can gather as well as everyone from around Kuching ^^ Be prepared for a night of Japanese Traditional (Ichigo Style!)
Note: Ichigo = Strawberry

Those who have Japanese clothing eg Yukata, are encouraged to wear them to the gathering. If otherwise, casual smart is good enough ^^ We’re not very strict don’t worry haha.. There will be games, lucky draws, exciting activities and of course, freebies to be given out to every guests that attends the gathering X3 Japanese food will be served as dinner! We strive to provide better than last year’s gathering, so, seize the chance to buy the tickets NOW. On 6th December 2008, Swinburne Anime & Manga Society(SAMS) and I’ve Anime! will be having a Chibi Con! Everyone are invited to join ^^ *For those in Kuching only >.<

Its Chibi! But hey, Chibi for us, Huge for you It’ll be even better than the display of figurines in the Spring~~ More Cosplay than before~~ Make sure you don’t miss them! Anyone including photographers and bloggers are most welcome haha.. Coz its alot to take and blog about Admission is free ^^ *Refer to poster above*

On 6th December, the same date as Chibi Con, Audition Round 2 is coming~ for live performances which is going to be held in our I’ve Anime! Convention 2009 at the Spring! Have a band? Have a(few) talent(s)? This is your super chance to try out your skills, challenge yourself and climb up to your ambition of performing in front of the crowd of Kuchingites! Gain experiences is not a bad idea as well.. Any songs or melodies are acceptable as long as its nice ^^ Japanese related? Sure! It’ll be a bonus! lol This is a free audition, feel free to try out, maybe you’ll get the once in a lifetime chance o.O Equipments provided maybe except guitars, I’m sure you have your own guitars Anyway, take action and chase your dream *Refer to poster above*

SAMS will be organizing the 1st Kuching Anime Club in Kuching! ^^
You're all invited to this gathering if there are any other club, help inform them too Here are the details :

Date : 7th Dec 2007 (Friday)
Venue : Swinburne Training Block Hall
Time : 6.30 - 10.00pm
Ticket price : RM15
Attire : Semi-formal(no t-shirt, rugged/casual clothes and no very very short mini skirt plz.. ><)

- Semi-formal as this is an official gathering, not a clubbing activity ^^" This is so tat our club/uni's reputation will not be affected, TQ!

- All figure collectors are encouraged to bring their figurines collection(PVCs, trading figures, gashapon, capsules etc) for display ^^

- Be sure to bring your frens, girlfrens or boyfrens ne.. XP
