ive no idea where to put this so if its in the wrong place can a mod move it?

Im trying to run an external exe with a button click. before i used the shell("filename") but it need you to install the external exe before hand
what if i put the exe in my resources folder what is the relevant source code i need to use and what is the path i need to use to run it? Thanks all
