usually i have never rant openly before but this time i cannot tahan.

Donkey years ago during early 90s my idealistic dreamer dad got duped into signing up a holiday membership plan (shitgarden) which i quote him say roughly 10k. Those years the idea was fresh and tempting i guess. Fast forward 5 years ago, i need to bear the dumb yearly maintenance fee for a useless membership. That time I realised the con

How useless ?
1) Rules change almost yearly
2) Choices getting lesser by the year
3) Free Room limitation. Go frequent enough, u will almost get the same room same view facing
4) Only can go home base hotel. 3 Finger can count. Others might as well go agoda/booking/traveloka/wateverfishtravelsite for cheaper & better deals.
6) The CS, really can vomit talking with them.

So why rant now?

Recently my wife had an idea to go on a joint vacation with another friend (membership elderly victims also). So since we needed to get 2 rooms ahead for a bunch of people, i reserved thru their web ahead of time 3days before that said fren. And you know what, cb cs blind go process frens first even though later than my request by 3 days. NO FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. MEMBERSHIP STATUS IS SAME BTW

When call to cs, pkmak say : who is your friend ??? what is their membership no??? waseh naik api . Already after their SOP revert response 7 days still can challenge customer ! To make matters worst, their deals with partner hotel is so weak that only can get such limited rooms (maybe 1 room at a point of time is allocated). I know cause they are chasing that fren for confirmation.

So as i leave my thoughts and rant here in openspace for publics to refer on. My honest opinion is that LIFETIME SUBCRIPTION/MEMBERSHIP PRODUCTS/SERVICES is SCAMS. As they have earned the big chunk of initial membership cost, they knew customers are locked or at least felt sayang to discontinue this membership. THEREFORE no need to upgrade nor improve their service & product range
