Problem with Digi data

Hi folks,

I'm facing digi data connection with my Sony XZL. It was still working 2 days ago and I already removed the exist APN files and redownload a new copies but it just won't work. The "Edge" is not even showing up.

If i let the "phone to automatic connect service provider automatically", it'll pick "digi 2G" over "digi 3G". Right now i changed the settings to Manual and point it to "digi 3G" but it doesn't help.

Please advise.

P/s: the damn digi customer service line sucks!! I can't get any CS representative to answer my call..it's just dropped the call.

Samba problem on gOS

Hi All,

I've just installed samba on my gOS.
I tested logon using unix password localy after i do some basic configuration on the smb.conf file, and the result was failed
Hostname: mypc
This is my smb.conf

[Global]
workgroup = workgroup
netbios name = Anthony-test
encrypt passwords = yes
force user = anthony

[share 1]
path = /home/anthony/Pictures

[share 2]
path = /home/anthony/installer

[homes]
guest ok = no
read only = no

the username is anthony and i've run "smbpasswd -a anthony" and restart the samba service...
the error i received when i key in "smbclient /mypc/anthony" is : session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE

Please advice!!

[addedon]May 28, 2009, 2:00 pm[/addedon]It's me again, i've checked it on other pc(window xp), it can access if i remove the samba user password. however, it still now working if i set password again (the window won't prompt for username and password).

The second problem is, how do i mount a window share file??
i have share a file on the other window pc with everyone can access.
Please advice!!

How to save configuration (gOS)

Hi Linux experts,

I'm just start to learn linux (DSL, gOS)...Playing around with the terminal...
Well, i managed to learn how to create user, change access right....etc...(just a bit la)..
Now i'm having problem which i want to save my configuration to either USB, or hdd while running Live CD..
Which mean i don't want to install the OS into pc or usb due to this is company pc and it doesn't support usb boot.

Is there a way to save it and it'll load the config everytime i boot it??
