Let's say you're running at 333MHz fsb again. But now you set it to 4:5 ratio. You just do a simple equation, 333/? = 4/5 ?=416.25. Since it's DDR2, multiply by 2, giving you 832.5MHz for ram.

Hey guys. I search something about OCing a value ram from google,but first, i need to understand the FSB : DRAM ratio. Can anyone who understand the above statement can slowly explain to me the above equation?

Mobo Warranty

Hey guys! I really need an opinion or advise. Yesterday, my mobo got struck by lightning via LAN cable (PC was off) . I found out that two chips had already fried, one is a very small chip and one i think is the Realtek LAN chip. Is it possible the shop can receive my mobo for repair? I still got the warranty or I just need to buy a new mobo?

Ram running high on idle

Hey guys, i got this problem that's playing around my pc. I have a 4GB ram running idle but the physical memory said that i use like 1GB memory. I already try googling about this problem but it doesn't seem like my problem is solve. BTW, I use VISTA 32Bit OS. Here is the picture of my Process Tab and Performance Tab in task manager.

Black Screen Laptop

Hey guys. I got a problem here with my friend laptop. It's an Acer laptop. The problem is when he switch on the laptop, the screen is black and nothing is coming out from the screen. Even switching it off only takes 2 sec to off. He told me that this is the second time. He already went down lowyat and change the display chipset like RM200++. Everything was fine when the technician change the chipset. But, it was sad the next morning when he switch it on, it goes into blank screen. I already unplugged and plugged the RAM and the HDD but nothing happens.
