I'm interested to find out how many lowyat forumers here already have a retirement plan
or already in the stage of retirement?

Just wondering if anyone here already there?

Do you have enough in your EPF? Savings or investment to last till your lifetime?
It was interesting to read in the press that 60% of EPF members today have less than RM 50K in their savings,
and approx 70K members age 54 (just 1 year shy of formal retirement age) have less than RM 167K in balance, about 30K short of the "recommended" target.

In that case, do you see yourself working past 55 (or going a few more years into the new retirement age at 60) so that you can build a bigger eggnest?

Say if you are retired today, what do you see as a reasonable sustainable retirement income in 2015 to continue to live in Malaysia and going forward till the end of your life?

Where in Malaysia you can live where the cost of living is low and you can stretch your Ringgit to the maximum?

Anyone knows how long does it take for Tmnet to fulfill an installation once it is ordered?
5 days? 10 days? 15 days?

Have to wait for their tech to show up or can we use self-install option?

Expired driving license

Anyone knows how to renew a driving license (class D) that has expired?
Didn't realised this because I was out of the country (overseas) studying.

Is there a way to renew without taking all the tests again?
