I'll start with my regrets

1) too many downlight (in which over the 8 yrs of living, didnt really utilised much of it)
2) bed frame without stand, dirty at the covered bottom and always hitting the bulky edges
3) didn't change my whole house's piping, still using GI from developer (too naive to trust contractor at that time)

Hi guys, recently i got a FOC Samsung 5.1 Bluray player ..

Seems like all speaker need to be connected to the player itself.

So my question is

I alrdy have HDMI 1(TV BOX) connected to my TV, assuming Samsung uses HDMI 2, but what shld i do when i'm using the TV box and i would like to utilize the speakers as well ...

Any ideas how to make it work ?

Dear all,

Current spec for the pc

- AMD Phenom II x4 955 Processor 3.20ghz
- 1 TB WD Caviar Black
- 1 x 4gb dual channel ddr3 + 2x2gb dual channel ddr3 (removed coz can't pair with the 4gb, i dont know why either)
- Ati Radeon HD 4800 series
- CM 690
- Silverstone 560W
- MSI 790gx g65

Problem currently

- installed BF 4, low detail, few minutes into game, shut down on it's own, GC updated, no problem playing but go into 10 to 15 mins, turn off immediately
- laggy sometimes ie slow in loading adobe illustrator
- that day was combining a few short videos, and it shut down on it's own halfway into it

Dear All

It's been nice to see the sharing of member's renovation, this is my renovation that currently undergoing.

Started : 1st of October
Completion Date : before 25th November

Engaged Mr Francis from Mas Ris as he was doing another house down the few house i'm living in and got a quotation from him

1) Initial Drawing submitted together with my quotation

2) Got another young contractor to quote , but guess he's inexperienced and price wise

STARTS With KITCHEN

1) Wall between wet and dry taken down
2) Originally 2 exit for kitchen (one swing door & doorless entry, swing door removed and enlarged the frame for the doorless entry
3) Floor tiles and wall tiles all taken down and replaced till ceiling.
4) Cabinets to be built, piping relocated, sliding window installed.

LIVING ROOM & DINING AREA

1) Floor tiles removed and replaced, wiring to be redone
2) Terrace removed the sliding door and grill to make an extension for the living room, while sliding door relocated next to dining hall in order to make the living room bigger.
3) L box plaster ceiling for dining hall, living room and flattened throughout the walkway into rooms.
4) Fan hook realigned accordingly

GUEST ROOM connected to Common Washroom

1) Door to common washroom removed and replaced with sliding door
2) Door fr room to washroom removed and replaced with sliding door
3) Floor Tiles removed and replaced
4) Washroom tiles and wall tiles removed and replaced, basically everything changed

KUALA LUMPUR: Parts of Jalan Kuching and Jalan Duta here will be closed in stages until the middle of next year for maintenance work.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) said in a statement yesterday that the fast lanes of both Jalan Kuching and Jalan Duta will be closed in stages from today until May 14 and June 19 respectively to allow the “three-tier extruded curb” to be built along the roads.

“The roads will be closed from 9.30am to 4pm (first stage) and from 9pm to 5am (second stage),” it said, urging road users to observe the traffic signs during the period. — Bernama

Was quoted by this so called "architect" at first and then later saying he's a runner and later on became "runner architect"

1. Scope of work

1) To provide building plan submission drawing
2) To provide perspective drawing for submission purpose
3) Submission of Building plan and follow up for approval

So cut the story short, he verbally agreed that will provide building plan structure as well , but later saying since DBKL doesn't need it, so I wont do it but the problem is you have alrdy agree upon and now you keep on turning here and there ... in out in out arguing , got a full refund oh well ...

so my question is , anyone knows any architect who provide such service ? Area is OUG , terrace house , we need 2 get the DBKL approval ... contractor alrdy found , lack of the approval only ...
