Problem with cursor when AC adapter plugged in

Hi guys & gals,

Hope all of you can help or shed some light. Here's the story:

My AC adapter for my DELL Inspiron recently died on me. In fact, the cable "terputus". Anyhow, I was down at Lowyat Plaza the other day and managed to source for a replacement AC adapter with the same voltage etc.

Here's where the problem starts.

SHORT STORY:

When AC plugged in, cursor on screen is unresponsive. When using the laptop battery, no problem. This happens randomly, sometimes no problem when AC is plugged in.

Anyone face this issue before and know what's wrong?

Help Needed about Notebook Power Adaptor

I'm currently looking for a replacement power adaptor for Dell Inspirion 6000 notebook.

Is it possible to use any kind of adaptors or do we have to get it from Dell? Any solutions?
