Dry Kitchen and Dining layout

Hi there,
I am actually thinking of doing something very different from the norm.
I live in a 22x76 intermediate house.
My current Dry Kitchen and dining setup is that both are different area and is divided by a peninsular. But I like the open concept type as I've hacked the dividing walls to make the are look larger.

I am thinking of renovating and hacking away my current dry kitchen setup and create a combination of dry kitchen + dining. A bit unconventional but then it to me it seems practical and it'll make the area looks bigger.

I have a different area at the back for wet kitchen for cooking. So my dry kitchen actually will have no cooking, maybe just baking.

I am in the mist of planning and saving money? Maybe not doing this year, maybe next year.
I would like your opinion and comments on pro and cons, maybe I overlooked some things?

Bought from Johnson Fitness, so after sales service is still with them. Comes with warranty card etc... Johnson Fitness now selling about RM6000. So why buy new when you can save about RM2000 and get a very good unit???
