To implement advance PS Core/IP transport features

My question is are there under networking attributes?whereby having knowledge of CISCO networking is an advantage for this job scope?

Unable to view my thumbdrive in my computer folder

Once i have inserted my thumbdrive into the USB drive, there is a message box saying that "the hardware is ready to use" pop up on the bottom right corner, However, autoplay function was not displayed to show the folder of my thumbdrive, and my computer folder also cannot view the thumbdrive.

Does this problem has to do with the Autoplay function in windows, where i guess it was disabled?

Currently, i m using Kingston value 1Gig ram DDR2 X2 , running Dual Channel, if i plan to get another 2 units of 1Gig DDR2 value ram, does that mean my mobo dual channel capability is unabled?

As far as i know , dual channel is better in terms of speed,
which one you guys prefer, speed(1Gig X2 with Dual Channel) or capacity(1Gig X4)?

How to check condition of HD bsides chkdsk

Usually i will type chkdsk /r in dos to check for bad sectors in harddisk, what other ways besides this one to check the condition of a harddisk?

PC sometimes have power, sometimes no power

At first, my fren's PC no power, once i have cleared the CMOS, then, got POWER already, according to him, his PC sometimes have power, and sometimes no power, if he OFF his PC for long time, then he said mostly likely he can't ON his PC.

But i think the prob can be solved by clearing the CMOS, and according to him, he can ON the PC after leaving it for a while.

I would like to ask is the prob caused by the p/supply or the mobo????

I have a system whereby, it can POST system's details, show the windows' loading bar, but can't load into desktop; it will first go to the Startup Advanced Mode - where it ask for how i would like to start my windows(safe mode, last configuration n etc), when i click Last Configuration, it prompt me that a file is missing or corrupted located in \windows\system32\config\system , and ask me to repair it using Windows installation CD.

However, it won't let me go to the windows installation setup when i insert the CD, mostly likely it can't search for any file in the harddisk, in addition, when i am in DOS mode using a startup disk, it don't let me search for any file in the harddisk, can't format either.

Last resort, i can detect the harddisk using another system, however, when i double click on that harddisk, it prompt me that the harddisk need to be formatted.
Furthermore, inside DOS from another system it says" The volume does not contain a recognized file system.Please make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and that the volume is not corrupted." when i entered the drive letter of that harddisk from another system in DOS.

Even when i typed CHKDSK d: it says "The type of the file system is RAW.CHKDSK is not available for RAW drives".

Any clue on how to recover the data inside that harddisk, or resolve this problem?

At the moment i have opened my casing, and i have heard some sound in my harddisk,especially when transferring files, issit normal to have sound in the harddisk

I have a new HD 320gig, i entered 20gig to install windows, however, i changed my mind, whereby i deleted the 20 partition during windows setup, when reboot, the 20 gig missing , only left 300gig, damn, HOW to recover back the 20gig missing???

question about CPU thermal paste

I bought this Artic Silver 5 CPU thermal paste , i think in 2003 or 2004, can't remember when . when i was using NF2 mobo, since then, never been used, it was kept well using its cover, my question is can this thermal paste be used NOW after so few years never use?????got any life span or expiry dates?hahahhahahaha

I have just told my fren that once a Windows XP harddisk have been moved to a new system , it need to be formatted, unless the new system has the same spec as its previous one.

In addition, he told me that it's diff case for a Windows 98 harddisk, where it can be used in any system, whereby, can even load to desktop without having to format the harddisk first, issit true? i dun think so ,right?

both pc is connected to a switch, both are able to connect to Internet,
WinXP pc can ping Win98 pc, however, Win98 pc can't ping WinXP pc, they are both in the same Workgroup.

Can anyone inform me how to use Win98pc to ping WinXP pc?

when typed "winipcfg" in DOS in windows 98, a small screen will appear , where i will be able to release and renew the IP address for the network adapter....

and the command "winipcfg" cannot be used in windows XP, what other options in DOS is there to release and renew the IP address of the net work adapter for windows XP?

i have one normal SIS 315E 32MB AGP CARD, certainly not a good card for 3d graphic or gaming purpose, bsides 3dmark, what software is GOOD enough to test the stability of this normal AGP card?

coz my fren who used this card told me that sometimes it will make the system auto restart, and also bluescreen.
