DIY Bathroom floor tile repainting

I have a problem with water sip through from the bathroom on the 1st floor. The current bathroom is laid with floor tile and I plan to do it in the cheapest way.
I went to the hardware shop to ask for the Nippon Paint tile primer and EA4 topcoat but they recommend I replace the EA4 with the Nippon Paint Multi-Purpose Floor Coating which is used to coat the car park and road curb.
I was a bit confusing, they also suggested adding in the anti-skid powder for better gripping.
Now my question is, these combinations can help to stop the water sip through? Shall I put in extra waterproofing coating at the base or the top? Now there are too many waterproofing products in the market that really make me lost.
By the way, I don't think of hacking as many constraints for me to consider.

Choose between Rog Flow X13 and Zenbook Duo

I'm in the midst of getting a new laptop and I have shortlisted the Flow X13 and Zenbook Duo 14 UX482.

The Duo split screen is very useful for my editing purpose but the cpu is bit lacking, while the Flow X13 having a promising CPU and convertible for stylus usage but a bit lagging display....

Any ideas?

I opted the Flip S Oled because not phone jack and mediocre cpu despite having a great display

Is VW really such problematic in Malaysia

Lately I've been doing some survey for VW and found that their FB have tons of negative feedback, which really create a huge impact to me. I always a big time VW fans and knowing the DSG might have some challenges here and there (Which cars don't have?)
But I never expect that the local Service Center also having such attitudes, this could be a scary factors for potential buyers.
But I rarely see anyone discuss about VW here, so I'd like to through my question to LYN members : Is this true?

Problem Setting up 2640B

Problem details
First occurence of problem: After my current modem dead, I only open up the D-link modem given by TM during sign up. I follow all the steps using the connection wizard setting up the user ID/Password and Wireless setup.
After that, reboot it. And the setup page point to http://255.255.255.255/login.html, which totally can't access' then I point back to the original 192.168.1.1 to log in again. In the status page, I can see the connection is up, speed it correct, however, the default ISP gateway was set to 1.1.1.1 and the DNS value is }. I've tried all setting to correct it back and even key in the default ISP gateway according to what I get from my old modem is 219.93.218.177 and the DNS to the 202.188.0.133 but all failed. What can I do with this modem?

Unifi 5Mbps or Streamyx 4Mbps

I'm in the midst of choosing the fixline 4Mbps or Unifi. My home Unifi will be available in July/Aug but Streamyx 4Mbps is here for sometime.
I wonder should I wait for the Unifi or upgrade to 4Mbps fixline BB? I'm more use it for brwosing, streaming and 'ahem' downloading, Average about 20~50G per month.

Overnite at LCCT

I'll be travel to Chiang Mai soon, but will take a last flight of the night from Penang to LCCT. And will catch the early 7am flight to Chiang Mai.
I'd like to know is I can stay overnite at the LCCT? Cause don intend to spend for the hotel just a few hours. Will be reaching LCCT at 12am and the check in will be around 5am+, I rather take a nap in LCCT, possible?

[WTA] Playing HD movies on my old rig

For sure, I'm having diffuclty on HD movie playback. What is your suggestion for me to enable my rig playing the HD moivies?

I have 2 Dell laptop and both hv the built in HSDPA modem which allow the user put in a sim card to activate the network.
But I donno which ISP in M'sia can be used with it. I didn't meant to subscribe a new phone line and use the 3G service. I just want to purely for Internet.

I plan to have a 2D1N trip at Fraser Hill this month end. I'm from Penang, so I totally blank on how to go up there, hence hope LYN member can help me on this.

1.) Which way to exit from north-south highway? From Penang.
2.) How is the road condition up to the hill top, bumppy? narrow? muddy?
3.) Which place to stay... more concern on safety.
