Hiking shoes/boots recommendation

Need recommendation for good (but not too expensive) hiking shoes/boots for terrain such as slippery/muddy slopes, river crossing, jungle trails.

I've used Kampung Adidas but the grip is still not that good on extremely muddy/slippery slopes and it hurt my big toe for long hours hiking even with thick hiking socks. For flat muddy/slippery trails, it is excellent.

Heard Salomon is good but a bit expensive. I don't mind to invest a bit if it solves those problem above. How about those from SportDirect like Karrimor and Hi-Tec hiking shoes?

It's been few weeks and I've been getting less than 2Mbps speed and I doubted it is even 2Mbps. Pages has to load so long and at times it was totally not responding. I hope we get at least 50% rebate for this month!

Attached is the speedtest result. I hope this get solved as soon as possible and please don't tell me 8pm to 2am will be slow as this is the only time I'm back from work and able to use my Maxis Fibre!

My internet is connected, My VOIP is registered but I cannot call or receive calls. It keeps saying the number you're trying to reach is out of service.
