TD-W8960N Wireless Router

HI all,

Need some help / guide here. Recently i just bought a TP LINK wireless router modem TD-W8960N

Want to ask is, is there any setting i need to set as problem i facing below.

1) router got 4 ethernet port. when plug in it take very long time only for PC to grab the DHCP IP. and sometimes once grab it cannot run 1
2) i got UPNP device oso like LCD TV, player and etc which is link to the router, problem came....When streaming video (Local- intranet not internet) it play half way and get disconnect and disappear the connection. All UPNP function already enable same as usual.

Previous I'm using SMC brand and all of this issue working good like ethernet port plug in n direct get authenticate and auto assign IP and UPNP run smoothly.

May I know this is the behaviour / default like this for TP-Link TD-W8960N or some setting is wrong. As this is the 1st time i switch to TP-Link product

Hi All,

would like to seek for advise / opinion. My home streamyx having some issue. DSL Light intermittent and causing my streamyx keep disconnect.

1) I use the TM Wireless Router Modem which been given free DL2640B the DSL Light is stable and working fine.

2) As I planing to change to use back my previous modem and router which separate. and modem keep get intermittent. as the TM Router modem I dont like
- Can confirm that modem is working fine. Even tested with another modem which working fine also intermittent for the DSL Light (total 2x Modem tested)

So I know what is the possible root cause which causing the modem intermittent?
Try with direct connection with just modem (manual dial in) also the same.

Need help and advise. Thanks

Need Help! Wireless Antenna for TV

Hi, from what i know outside got wireless TV antenna some sort like our wireless router. install on the main and the rest just plug in like our (PC (Wifi) - TV wireless coaxial receiver to link all the tv. As my house all wall is conceal and some of the room no TV point and require to put TV point. The problem is I dont want to put casing / hack the wall.

Please intro me, got what type of Wireless TV antenna receiver out there.

* I don't want the standalone antenna as the receiver not good. I want is like router function as i mention above. is there available in our malaysia market?

Anybody encounter problem like this before?

A pendrive can detect by window and can be use, but when you transfer data in, once you copy out the data, for eg: MP3 / photo, all the file corrupted.

Even try to delete the whole partition or low level format is still the same?

Can it be cure / solve?

Anyone know how to clear or disable Sony Ericsson Phone call history? Mean when you dial before this number it wont auto save in your phone.

for eg u dial 0121234567 it will auto store like our PC url temporary history anyone how to clear it without master reset the phone?
