[WTA] Potential buyer wants to check car first

Just a quick question guys ...

I'm selling my Bimmer to a guy from a FB group. He says he wants to send the car for checking first at a workshop of his choice before confirming. I'm totally okay with that. However, my questions are :

1. What's the process like? Do I have to take an off day, follow him with the car to the workshop and wait with him? I kinda have better things to do with an off day

2. Who's supposed to pay for the check? Him or me?

3. If after checking, he decides he doesn't want the car, wouldn't that be a waste of my day?

4. Also, if after check and he decides not to get it, do I get to keep the checking report so that I can show other potential buyers?

Really hope those who have had experience with this can share. Appreciate it guys!

BMW G30 530e 2018

A G30 Pre LCI 530e is going for less than RM160,000.

Seems like a great bargain to me. Of course, the reason's pretty obvious .. it's cause of the hybrid engine.

But the way I see it, if you were to change all 6 battery modules for around RM30k plus, that'd come to around RM200k which is still pretty acceptable for an otherwise decent car

Any thoughts on this guys?

VW Polo Sedan 1.6 2013

My cousin is planning to sell his VW Polo Sedan to me for RM12k.

Is it worth getting it? I see in carlist and mudah, it's going for RM22k plus.

It won't be my daily driver. Was just thinking of getting it as a second car and a weekend hobby. Fix it up properly. Send it for a proper service and also detailing. Maybe do some soundproofing. A few mods here and there.

I've driven it for a few times over the years. It's a pretty decent car with good NVH and fuel consumption.

Now, I know the only reason anyone wouldn't touch a VW with a 10 foot pole is the low resale value. But here's a chance to get it at the lowest resale value so far. Lol. And I know for a fact he takes good care of his cars.

So would it be a good buy? Or should I try my luck and ask him to sell lower to me?
