After installing the latest version 1.0.29 cannot login because forgotten the password.

I used the Forgot Password option to reset successfully but encountered 'Invalid User Id or password' msg.
Text HelpDesk and got reply to do the reset password option. I tried more the 20 times also same problem.
Already tried reset password for 2 days, want to give up lo.

Anyone know how to resolve this issue? Kamsiah

PETALING JAYA: There must be social distancing in restaurants and eateries, but there is no fixed number of people allowed to sit at every table, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

“As long as there is social distancing, it is possible. If a long table can fit 10 people, then 10 people are allowed. The issue is social distancing, ” the Senior Minister (Security) told a press conference on Covid-19 updates on Wednesday (June 17).

He said this when asked if the standard operating procedures (SOP) stating that a maximum of four people were allowed to sit at any one table in eateries also applied to big tables.

“If there’s a big table that can fit 10 people, it doesn’t make sense for (only) two people to sit there. There are no restrictions on this, ” added Ismail.

Ever since the recovering movement control order (MCO) on June 9, restaurants and other eateries have been allowed to operate up to midnight.

PETALING JAYA: Army and police personnel manning movement control order (MCO) roadblocks in Kuala Lumpur will now be armed with thermometers, says Tan Sri Annuar Musa.

The Federal Territories Minister said those found to be having a fever may be detained and taken for health screenings.

Annuar said all roadblocks in Kuala Lumpur will be supplied with a thermometer from Saturday (March 28).

"Those who have a fever may be detained and brought in for further health checks," he tweeted Saturday (March 28).

Malaysia is currently under an MCO from March 18 to April 14 following a rise of Covid-19 cases in the country.

PUTRAJAYA: The public can expect sterner action, including the deployment of armed forces personnel to conduct roadblocks and checks if the compliance rate for the movement control order remains low after the “advisory period” is over, said Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said this was to make sure a higher record of the compliance rate was achieved compared to the 60% rate on the first day the order was enforced.

Police conducted 504 roadblocks and checked 6,135 vehicles on the first day of MCO, which began on March 18 and will last until March 31.

“I hope this will not be necessary but if the compliance rate is low, there is a big possibility that the military will be used (to get people to stay at home), ” he said at a press conference yesterday.

Deployment of military personnel was among the suggestions raised at the special meeting on Covid-19 on non-health related matter.

Ismail Sabri, who is also Defence Minister, said the presence of armed forces might be needed more in smaller towns, rural areas and villages where currently Rela personnel were being deployed to make sure people stay at home.

Ismail Sabri said for the first two or three days, police conducting roadblocks and checks would advise the public to remain at home.

“After that, they will change from advice to action if the public does not comply with the order, ” he said.

The minister also said that police would track down the 4,000 participants who had yet to come forward to be tested for Covid-19 after attending the tabligh gathering last month.

He said police made the decision, as there were concerns that many who went to the rally, held at Masjid Jamek Sri Petaling on Feb 28, had not been tested.

“While the police said that they will be doing this, I hope those who went for the event will voluntarily get themselves tested, ” he said.

The majority of Covid-19 cases recorded in the country were from the tabligh cluster.

On reports that 83 Malaysians had gone to Indonesia to attend another tabligh gathering, Ismail Sabri said they would have to be quarantined for 14 days upon their return.

“We are also getting details from the Immigration Department on how many Malaysians are overseas and their expected return so that the necessary action can be taken, ” he said.

He said the move by the 83 people to go to Indonesia did not violate the law as they left before the order was enforced and to a country which was not on the prohibited destination list.

“But when they return to Malaysia, they will be quarantined at the government health facility, ” he said.

On the issue of Malaysians commuting daily to work in Singapore, Ismail Sabri said: “The Prime Minister has spoken to the Singapore Prime Minister on this. Those working in the republic will be allowed to leave provided their accommodations are taken care of to prevent them from commuting daily.”

In May, the US Commerce Department banned sales of American-made goods to Huawei without first obtaining a license. US officials have accused the company of working to undermine US national security and foreign policy interests.
Trump said Huawei was still part of the ongoing trade discussions between Washington and Beijing, but for now, he would move to resume allowing US companies to sell parts to the Chinese firm.

The MACC has filed forfeiture suits under the Anti

PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has filed a civil forfeiture against 41 individuals and entities to recover RM270mil related to 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

MACC chief commissioner Latheefa Koya said the suit was filed at the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Wednesday (June 19) under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001.

Latheefa said the monies that was disbursed to these 41 individuals and entities all came from former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's personal bank account.

"The biggest recovery would be money disbursed to various Umno divisions, totalling RM212mil," she said at a press conference on Friday (June 21).

Farmers still bearing the scars of BN's 'Operation

CAMERON POLLS | Away from the bustling Cameron Highlands tourist spots, the agricultural town of Ringlet rarely received attention, until recent years.

Since 2015, farm owners have been fighting a losing battle with the authorities who want to wipe out illegal vegetable farms.

The heart of the matter was the Pahang government's decision to stop issuing temporary occupation licences (TOL) to farmers in this town.

There have been many reasons cited by the authorities - from land encroachment to illegal farming.

Many farmers in Ringlet told Malaysiakini that their livelihood would be the first thing on their minds when they go to the polls on Jan 26.

Third-generation farmer Lai Weng Heng, 48, said he has not been sleeping easy since 2015, when his application for TOL renewal was denied.

"I am now an illegal farmer. I am under tremendous pressure. We own the crops, but not the land. Don't you think this is strange?" asked Lai.

Unlike other parts of Cameron Highlands, farming in Ringlet is mostly by independent farmers instead of large corporations.

The Pahang government, said Lai, has been indifferent to the plight of the small-time farmers.

"Many of us are illiterate. Farming is all we know... But without any assurance on land matters, it is difficult for us," he said.

In November 2014, Cameron Highlands was hit by mudslide, which killed four people. Authorities blamed it on illegal farming and initiated Ops Gading (Operation Tusk).

Between 2015 and 2018, many farmers had their farms destroyed by the authorities, who were backed by the military and the police.

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has called on voters in the Sungai Kandis by-election to give Barisan Nasional a chance to be a stronger Opposition voice in Selangor.

"Give Barisan a chance to be a stronger opposition voice and give your support to Barisan candidate (Datuk) Lokman Noor Adam to defend the people's rights in Sungai Kandis and in Selangor," the former prime minister said on his Facebook post on Saturday (Aug 4).

Najib said Lokman, who has a masters degree in management from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, had proved that he was a brave fighter.

He said the Barisan candidate was someone who championed the truth and would not stop defending justice for the sake of the people.

Najib also said that Aug 4 was not just the date for the Sungai Kandis by-election but also a reminder that the ruling Government only had 14 days left to fulfil its "10 promises in 100 days" manifesto.

He said petrol prices had not been reduced, people were still paying toll charges and that Felda's debts had also not been written off.

Najib said even a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) had not been established and that there were many more "promises and slander that have been viewed as just lies and accusations".

Dayaks slam PAS, Umno Youth for slamming Chief Jus

KUCHING: The Dayak National Congress (DNC) has criticised PAS and Umno Youth for denigrating the appointment of Tan Sri Richard Malanjum as Chief Justice of Malaysia.

DNC president Paul Raja said the profiling of Malanjum as a non-Muslim by PAS and Umno Youth was uncalled for.

“We would like to remind (them) that all religions command us to do good and to promote justice.

“So to pick on and cast aspersions on the Chief Justice as a non-Muslim does not help to promote justice,” he said in a statement Friday (July 13).

Raja said being a non-Muslim did not restrict the Chief Justice from administering justice in the nation's highest court.

“The Chief Justice is a man who has wide experience and is the most qualified and most senior of the Justices of the Federal Court and therefore most suited to helm the judiciary.

“We must also remember that he is helming the civil court of Malaysia and not the syariah court,” he said.

Raja added that what was most important was that Malanjum fulfilled the legal and constitutional conditions to be appointed Chief Justice.

“The sad thing here is that in spite of his qualification, he has been overlooked on many occasions in the past," he said.

Raja also reminded PAS and Umno Youth that Malaysia was a multiracial country and that Sabah and Sarawak were part of the nation with many non-Muslims.

He said Sabahans and Sarawakians, like any other Malaysians, had the right to be appointed to the highest office in the civil service if they were so qualified.

“In fact, we would like to remind (them) that Article 153 of the Federal Constitution has been neglected by the previous regime, as far as the rights of the natives of Sabah and Sarawak are concerned, with regard to appointments in the civil service,” he said.

He added that PAS and Umno Youth should learn from Sabah and Sarawak how to live harmoniously in a multiracial society.

“PAS and Umno Youth should help to build a better Malaysia instead of trying to gain popularity using divisive means.

“We hope PAS and Umno Youth will learn their lesson and be more charitable in their political struggle to promote the rights and welfare of all Malaysians instead of being champions in suppressing other lawful citizens of this country,” he said.

ALOR SETAR: Sungai Petani PKR MP Datuk Johari Abdul (pic) said he has not been notified as a candidate for the Dewan Rakyat Speaker.

Johari said there was no indication from the party that he would be picked as the Speaker.

"It looks like it is a well-kept secret, at least from me although my name is being bandied around," Johari told The Star on Wednesday (July 11).

Johari said if selected for the post, he would perform his duties along non-partisan lines and uphold the constitution at all times.

"Reforming the Parliament would be on the top of my agenda, something which was not completed earlier during the tenure of former speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin," he said.

He, however, praised Pandikar for carrying out his duties to the best of his ability.

"My experience as the PKR whip in Parliament would be an added boost to my role as a Speaker," added Johari.

The three-term MP has been tipped to be named the Dewan Rakyat Speaker, with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad expected to make the announcement on Wednesday (July 11).

Johari's selection was believed to have been decided at the Pakatan Harapan meeting on Monday night (July 9) held at the Perdana Leadership Foundation in Putrajaya.

Among those who attended the meeting were Dr Mahathir, who is Pakatan chairman, PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, Amanah president Mohamad Sabu, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia deputy president Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir and Pakatan secretariat chief Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah.

JOHOR BARU: Umno vice president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has revealed hat the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has frozen the bank accounts of its headquarters and Selangor branch.

Dr Ahmad Zahid, who is assuming the duties of Umno president, said that he received a call from the MACC notifying him that the accounts were now frozen.

"It is almost certain that after this, MACC will freeze Johor Umno's account as well," he said during in his speech during the state party Hari Raya gathering held here on Thursday (June 28).

Dr Ahmad Zahid also said that it was possible that Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin would order the Registrar of Society to deregister Umno soon.
