Will my PSU sufficient for new GC upgrade?

Hi all Sifus,

I'm thinking to upgrade my GC from MSI GTX560TI to Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 WindForce 3X 2GB and i'm wondering whether my 560W SilverStone ST56F sufficient to support the GC, as the specification page stated the minimum require for GTX770 is 600W.

Sorry for the trouble, i'm trying to keep minimum spend on upgrading, these are what i'm currently powering

CPU: i7 2600k 3.4Ghz
Motherboard: Asrock Z68 Pro3
RAM: 2x4GB Kingston Ram
VGA: MSI GTX560Ti Twin Frozer II (Oced)

Quite surprise there is no thread for this brand, it was one of the top and famous brand at all time, kinda hard to purchase last time due to there is no reseller/distributor in this region. Whoever stays long enough in this forum, guess you are familiar with Beyerdynamic from German.

Recently announced of their latest Custom Pro series, not just letting you to adjust Sound signature (4 settings), but also going for Custom design plate specially made for you.

Pretty amazed by their concept, seem they really hit hard on headphone and consumer market.
Haven't heard the unit myself, but i going through some reviews, seem pretty promisingon the sound, will definitely give it a try when i had the chance (will Jaben bring them @.@?)

Govibe Mini Box Amplifier - Small & Sound Big

Yo everyone!
just found out a great amplifier after a long searching for small portable amplifier, previously was thinking of Fiio E6, after for a long try and personally prefer something more pure and overall enhancement instead of bass boost.

And i finally got in from Govibe!

The amplifier itself is having a great build quality, it is build with aluminium solid housing material for durable usage, looks like a traditional small lighter with very basic features in it, there is no on/off button, no volume control.
Feels kind of like back to square one, everything is convenient and easy to be used.
I'm currently using this for outdoor travel usage, the shirt clipping is pretty amazing for my purpose, it can clip on my shirt/sling bag without worry much on volume setting and buttons.
The weight level is superb, light and easy =D

Just got this news from Jaben Network, Beyerdynamic had launched their latest XP series Earphone.
Pretty unexpected on this news, seem they are targeting more affordable market as well.
The pricing of RM199 is pretty crazy, especially they have 3 different sounding models in same price.

Do you need burn in?
*Yes, according to user Beyerdynamic Xp series starting to shine in around 70+ hours, fully perform in 150+ hours.

What can you tune about the sound?
*I did have a play with the double flange and stock single flange tips, the sound is pretty different between these two.
Double flange provides better staging and more extension on treble & bass spectrum.
Single flange offers better speed and impact, everything moved forward with more aggressive sound enhanced.

Why i don't any bass respond in the earphone? i thought they are strong?
*Most probably the fitting issue, as angel fit requires better fitting due to their natural solid in inner ear canal, twist a little bit around your ear, with noise isolated seal you can get great bass respond.

Do 3 of them just different on bass quantity?
*No they are not, base on my personal experience and customer feedback, 3 of them presented different signature to your taste, try them if you are able to.

Cable microphonic sound?
*The "bup" sound when the cable touched your body. Try to slide up the cable slider to a comfortable zone, it will reduce a lot.

Hi guys, planning to upgrade to a better gc for future gaming experience.

I did have a research through google, and checking through their benchmark for gaming, some favor 560ti, some 6950, seem their price are very close, both options are valid for me, performance wise im not too sure as im quite noob in computer stfss and specs.

So guys, may i have your opinion on both card? In term of performance, temp, driver compatible etc?
Which 1 is more value for money?
Im using i7 2600k and gtx260 atm, planning to play games like battlefield 3

Ram not fully function?

hi to all sifus,

i have some problem for RAM in my PC currently.
here is the scenario :

im currently using i7 2600k and asrock z68 mobo
i did insert a 2 x 4GB ram stick into the mobo.

however, when i check the system there, it shown :

RAM : 8GB (1.92GB usable)

may i know what is the problem caused that?
when i monitor my ram usage, it's maximum around 2 GB.

im using window 32bits btw.

currently i'm confuse on whether which 1 to pick

i'm building a gaming rig

i'm deciding to spend money on GTX560, and a DDR3 basic ram

however, my friends did mention that Gaming/high end ram does make the system better, in term of performance and bottle necking.

but, i'm only able to spend money on one of the option below :

1) GTX560 + basic cheap DDR3 ram

2) Downgrade to cheaper GC + better gaming ram

may i know which option helps me more on my requirement??

I5 2500k vs I7 2600k?

hi there, i bet this type of question had been asked for many times.

however, is extra RM200 really value for I7 2600k compare to I5 2500k?

im a heavy gamer, love to play all the latest hardcore great graphic game, E.G COD series, upcoming battlefied 3 and more.
and im considering upgrade from my c2d to either I5, I7, may i know do they have big different in performance?

i did a major research through google, but those are usually reviewed at January, all the latest heavy taxing game on pc requirements are coming usually on end of this year ,
my concern is that will I7 2600k last longer compare with I5 2500k in term of gaming performance?

E.G such as upcoming Battlefield 3 which i believe required more proc power.

is it more future proof if i go for I7 2600k?

and

Intel I5 750/760.

guys, may i know which 1 excel more in gaming purpose?

if the different is significant, i dont mind spending extra on the i5.
some ppl said AMD much more suitable for gaming, intel more on program. thats why im still very confusing.

he's using cooler master 400w 364 true power to power up his old spec without problem.
Here is the question, does his PSU enuf to power up his com spec if he change 7900GS to GTX260+?
