Hey guys, I'm looking for an industrial design company to help me design and manufacture a product. I'm interested in producing something like a skateboard / inline skates.

Could any of you direct me to the right person / website for this job?

Borderless window visual style

Does anyone know any visual style that has no border? Not even an inch. What i mean is the border padding. I know we can set it to 0 in the appearance dialog, but there's still seems to have like 1mm of border.

or are there any 3rd party software that can achieve such effect?

Actually what affects the above mentioned softwares performance?

In Photoshop I need to be able to use the brush tool without any lag/delay. Some might realized that when using big brushes, it tends to slow down and we need to wait for the stroke to finish till the end.

Same goes to Autocad. When opening large drawings, it tends to slow down and take its time to reload the whole drawing. Same thing when zooming in and out. Some called it drawback or something like that.

In 3dsmax I need to be able to model high polygons objects without slowdown on the screen and render without exploding my computer.

What should I look for? Processor? Ram? Graphic Card? What affects them?

DVI -> HDMI = Blurry Fonts

I'm connecting my desktop with Nvidia GTX 260 to My Samsung SMB2230H via DVI-HDMI cable.

As shown above, my fonts seem to blurry. How do i resolve this?

Edited: Hah, i just realized the image does not help. Once i change to DVI-DVI cable. Even the fonts in the image above looks normal. So it must be my monitor's setting. I'll try to look on it.

2nd Hard Disk Undetected

Just bought a new desktop which came with 2 hard disk, but when i open my 'my computer', only 1 is shown. When i boot the pc they will show there's actually 2 hard disk. I think it's during the bios. Is it normal or do need i to setup/partition the other hard disk on my own?

1st timer Ubuntu user need help

Hey guys, i just installed Ubuntu and is loving the interface, cool effects, lightness and simplicity. However i have problem when it comes to installing softwares for me to work. I'm currently working in the field of architecture. There's quite a number of softwares i need to use everyday at work which includes:

1. Sketchup
2. 3ds Max
3. Autocad
4. Photoshop (i've tried Gimp, but it lacks functionality and is way too buggy when handling big files)
5. Illustrator (i've tried Inkscape, but the software seems to lack on handling big files/masterplan)

The issue is, i can't install even a single one of the above mentioned softwares. Google search resulted in using Wine, but it seems that it can't install the latest version of the softwares, say 2011 version of all of the above.

What is the best solution to overcome this problem? Dual boot? Or Ubuntu is really not the best choice?

We all love arts and design, but what do you guys do will all your skills and talents? Do you guys just sketch and paint for fun? or do you work in an advertising firm while selling small custom made badges or your own designed t-shirts? Making cards for friends? web designing? blogging?

Some artworks are profitable, some for the sake of satisfaction.

As for me, i work full time in an architectural firm while paints for fun at home. Occasionally taking photos and doing digital arts.

Are there any software that can be configured to load applications or folders by just typing some commands?

example.

By typing FF will open up firefox
PF for Program files
n etc

Or keys combination would be useful too such as
CTRL+F opens up Firefox
SHIFT+P opens up Program files
n etc

It wont show up. I dont know how to install it in photoshop. I've installed the fonts. All other programs are able to show the characters.

Can't detect wireless

I have a problem where my laptop can't detect the wireless connection from my desktop.Everything works fine before this until suddenly it got disconnected.My brother and sis is using the same connection.Theirs works just fine.just mine.Suddenly can't detect the connection.It can detect my neighbours connection or any other places connection just fine.How can i fix this?
