When I was researching for comments on dating agency, speed dating and its ilk here, I too speed read lots of comments from you guys. The following statements are not criticism directed to anyone in particular, but whether you're the one asking for advice, or dishing out some wisdom of your own; the one question you should ask first is 'context'.

Know that whoever is writing their story here, that is entirely a one sided observation, you dont know how objective is that person in describing his situation. Current emotion, mood, all that defines the choice of work a person may use at anytime . And the person that read it, and give a reply? What's his or her experience, education, age, exposure? Someone similar to your age (say 22) , giving you an advice, may sound more acceptable than some dude in his 40s. Why? Because he speak like the people around you, people that you could understand, people you are comfortable with.

a) Some fresh college graduate with badass english, read some book and become an expert in love (although a virgin)
b) Some ah beng who can barely cobble together intelligible english, but got some action to back up his words
c) Some old fart with badass english, but cynical as hell due to his bad experience

So, who's the best choice to listen to?

Answer: None of the above. But of course, you couldnt really differentiate if youre an impressionable young person because no one will state up front if they are a, b or c.

So how does a young fool get away from this trapping? Well that's a question for you to ask .

PS: I got nothing against virgin, ah beng, or old fart. We will go through that stages one way or another.

A fine gentleman pointed out that SLA93 is not G0. Well, its too late for me to get a screenshot with cpuz. Sure damn hell remember it as G0 cause I was reading guides on legionhardware and bought a xigmatek to mess around, which I wouldnt if its not. Still, been a while.

I'm currently using a cheapo D510MO and it just can manage 720p even with coreavc (no hardware support).

Anyone got any calls (no caller ID) from allegedly TMNET personnel saying that you are rewarded with a 2 year insurance from them for being long time Streamyx user? They are even able to read my IC and address.

Sounds like scam, but they didnt ask for anything important beside whatever the hell they know. Just gave them a email I use for spam for the supposed policy (which I didnt receive).

Anyone with similar experience?

I notice that you need to shove the plug into your canal completely (ok, may be like 5mm deep) to get better isolation and thus better bass. Is that the right way to do it? Or do I just use the bigger silicone (which is harder to shove in)?

Power supply : does anyone sell those Pico PSU in lowyat? I want something less than 200 W. I read that the power efficiency for low wattage PC is better if your PSU is as low as possible.

Just want to check with you if you had some streamyx dude call you up and telling you that your line had problem and they asked for a new ID so they can create a new account for you, because they just called me. (its a 1mb line, but doing sub par speed even with http download which I know I can hit 100kbs)

I'm not sure if these are new policies (proactive troubleshooting?), but hey, lets chalk that up as a moment of awesomeness to streamyx.
