Bad experience with Pxx Bank Loan application

I received a call from PXX bank agent that I must sign the offer letter on the spot? He said his manager don't allow customer to bring the offer letter home for review?! What the ****?

I had a really bad experience with this bank! Not sure about others. Im wondering is the bank problem or the agent problem?! Just want to share my experience to all of you.

First the agent told us that MRTA is a must. I called up Pxx bank customer service and they told me it is NOT A MUST. They put me to the HQ loan department and the guy said they encourage the house owner to buy MRTA but is not a MUST. Later on when I said the agent told me it is a MUST, then he changed his story. He told me, well, it is actually depend on the branch policy! Fine! I get the branch number and called the branch loan department. The lady is rude and she told me it is HQ policy that all borrower must buy MRTA with them. Hence I told her that I'm in the mid of buying MLTA so what is the point of me buying MRTA again?! She then requested for the MLTA policy. I said that I'm in a MID of processing the MLTA and the insurance company need about 2 weeks to deliver the policy to me. She asked me to talk to my bank agent about extension of due date to sign the offer letter.

I called my agent and asked if it is possible to waived MRTA from the loan package, without mentioning to him that I've called both HQ n Branch Loan department. He told me it is kinda hard but he can try to ask his manager. Today he called to informed me that the manager has agreed to waived the MRTA and he wants me to sign the offer letter on the spot??!!

Why is Pxx (or the agent) so forceful?! I cant even take my own sweet time to review my offer letter?! Wondering if anyone has the same experience with Pxx??
