Subwoofer hookup

I need some guide and advice here.

As for the titles, how do i connect a subwoofer and a set of speaker to an amp with no pre-out?

the subwoofer uses ordinary rca connection (Y-cable type) 1 end to source and 2 ends goes to subwoofer.

This thread supposed to be an opinion thread and I need some feedback from all Audiophile members regarding this topic.

As we all know Audiophile is a very expensive and pricey hobby. Even for a ridiculous block of wood that can improve your sound system cost more than a 100 bucks (Cardas wood block) and people still using it. In Malaysia, this hobby regarded as a exotic hobby and only for those who have Datuks datuks, Tan Sris tan sris, Dr. dr. even 'rich boy' title can afford for such exclusive hobby. So in general this hobby ment for rich people even with the rising number of low cost China hi fi product in market.

I want to know how do you all see this particular scenario in Malaysia? Do you think this is true in this country...only the rich is suitable for this kind of interest and the rest average people not need to. Should there be a boundary separating this hobby between the rich and the average/poor even though everyone have the right to enjoy good music?

hi guys.

I'm now working to set my PC as a hi-fi ring.
The setup will be my pc connected to my external DAC via usb connector.
Could anyone suggest to me where could i get a hi quality converter that converts raw data from usb to a digital output like spdf so i could channel it to my dac. any suggestion and guides is much appreciated.
