I'm planning to setup 1 HTPC to output to 2 Amplifier Receiver with setting
HTPC---HDMI--->1st Amp (for movie playback, game)
HTPC---Line Out-->2nd Amp (mainly for background music playback)
Both audio source must be different, Eg my HDMI is output those game sound, at the same time my Line Out will output background song (perhaps multiroom those).

Possible to do this? with on board soundcard? or do I need a separate soundcard (then configure the background music software to play on that 2nd playback device)

Any brand & shop recommendation in penang area?
Planning to fork around RM 3k for the home theater set, currently checking on Pioneer.
I had seen quite some type in places like Harvey Norman, SEC, Sen Heng etc, mostly come with blue ray set but those I believe the sound quality might not be so good one.

Currently only know CMY at gurney? Anyone else know other retail shop or authorized seller?

CPU can't POST after shutdown overnight

If i shutdown my desktop at night (cut off the power totally), the next morning most likely it will have this problem. Can't POST, no Beep. Saw LED flash up and down (Like.. power on.. before POST, then failed, cut off the power, retry.. that why the fan spin a while then stop, then repeat)

The problem temporary solved by doing this step
1. Unplug Battery. POST and force shut down, then replug the battery and POST again.

Processor: E8200
Ram: 2 x 1G Kingston DDR2
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 8600GT
Mobo: Asus P5KR
Casing/PSU: Cooler Master

I realize I'm having this problem since... 3 years ago

Doubt:
1) Battery exhausted? Can't be, if it's exhausted then my BIOS clock should get reset but it doesn't
2) PSU? If that so then it shouldn't work unless I replace PSU.
3) Power not stable? I'm using AVR and it should be fine.
4) Why sometime, if I leave the desktop in sleep mode, the next morning it might still work

Any expert advice?

I had a contract sign with company. Expired on April.
There is statement of this in the contract

Notice of Termination (before expiry of this contract)
You are required to serve three months' termination notice or three months contractual fee in lieu of such notice. The management reserve the right to terminate your service if your performance is not up to the expectation.

So here's the question,
if I leave on April sharp. Do I need to serve the notice / or pay the fine? Since the contract is expired and if I didn't sign the renew contract.

I'm moving my path to IT Security. Working at software programmer currently. I had done some research that some industry certificate will be useful in getting relevant job like CISSP, CEH and so on. But most of the certificate require few years of hand of experience in that area, I don't have working experience in that area but I do have my a years or two experience in that area while I study in college last time. Anyone could give me some idea which certificate is good to have? or the proper path to choose if I want to explore myself in this area?

It will be much appreciated that if some gurus out here sharing their personal experience and their path in this area. Thanks a lot.

Let's make some asumption.
When you are working in A company,
B company offer you a job with decent pay, and you accept the offer verbally.
When you told your manager in A company, he/she counter offer you with better offer.

If you wish to take company A offer, are you allowed to do so? Since you accept job offer from company B already.
If Yes - how would you told company B about this?

but once you sign with company B, then you can't do anything already?
let say you had already sign with company B, while you still serving your notice period in company A.

My new cpu have this problem, after I unplug it and move to another house and assembler it. When start it up, the fan spin up and stoppeed, then repeat same thing. The LED on Power Button does the same, light up and down.
I removed RAM, graphic card, all Drive and sata power, didnt beep any (by right should beep when no ram inserted)
So problem here should be.. Mobo or power supply?
Any help will greatly appreciated.

The problem solved by 2 way.
1. Reset CMOS. (unplug battery, change jumper and change back, then plug in battery and POST)
2. Unplug Battery. POST and shut down, then replug the battery and POST again.

one thing weird is.. after I shut down the comp at night, the next day I cant get it on again. If I leave the comp on standby mode then its fine.. Is this power related problem? anyone can tell me? Once it doesnt work then I have to redo any of that 2 step to make it up again..
