Hi all,

Thank god lowyat.net is so efficient and user friendly. Anyone tried putting an ad on Mudah.my?? I have posted 2 days ago already but ad still not up yet (although stated 3 hours only). it was so easy in the past. what happen?? is it because we op for free ad?? If everyones pay, do we still get good bargains from mudah? Im sure non business people will shun from advertising in mudah and majority will be business oriented. Thus not much good deal to expect from the site ....right??

Hi all,

My wife have been breast feeding for 1 month now. Got milk but cant seem to cope with child's increasing demand. My mother in law, aunty, father in law..the full works of old family members.. recommended their own theory from what to eat to increase breast milk such as shark meats, raw papaya soup, eel, suji etc.. everyone seems to have diff theory but the best part is non of these so called knoledgeble individual actually breast feed their child b4. WTF??

Any one with experience can share something that u actually tried and WORKS??

My house got 1 highly intelligent rat who comes out at night an makan wahtever stuff and shits an pee everywhere. Ive tried the cage trap with salted fish/dried cuttle fish/cheese, tried the glue trap and also poison. All failed la. Damm irritated now. Anyone can recommend something effective, preferabbly lethal method would be more satisfying.

Hi guys,

Really need ur help. I recently bought a used apexis wireless pan tilt camera model APM-J011-WS. Received the package but dont have the installation cd. I've specifically asked the seller before whether it got cd installer or driver and he told me all got. Now ask him but ignore.

Any sifu can advice me on how to install to get the camera working?? real noob here. Any help would be appreciated.
I dont mind paying for the cd if required.

Just wondering if anyone here interested to join me to start from fresh and hopefully build an establish website?

I am only looking for a team of people who got nothing to lose, preferably fresh graduates who got talents but still jobless or those thinking of having a career change with a company which they actually have a part in. I will finance the whole thing or evryone can contribute if desire or have the finances. Can provide an office for our team in Subang Jaya. All members in the team will have a share in the company.

Hopefully the website can eventually pick up and generate some income. I prefer not to disclose what I intend to do fully but basically I believe we can do with another website that act as a 3rd party in providing good deals nationwide as well as providing usefull info.

Plan to start : Anytime preferably asap
Why I want to do this? Because I like to start things. I got no idea about IT but thought that it could be interesting for me to learn something along the way.

Property Gain Tax

I recently sold one of my house. Received the most of the money already except few k which was withold by my lawyer. He submitted all documents for me regarding the property gain tax declaration which includes all the receipts for the house reno etc and told me to wait for approval by the gov body involved. How long does it take to process it? My lawyer said 6 months which is quite absurd.

Anyone got experience with this?? Need help la. Money just hanging there with the lawyer only. Tot can use the money to roll la.

Importing Boats for personal use

Actually dunno where to ask this but thought here wld be most relevant. Does anyone know sincerely on importing boats from US ? Coz my friend told me it would be tax free if from US so thought want to clarify this. how much would it cost to ship it down? Any permit require for it? How about grant for the boat?

Sorry la to ask so many questions. Really hope someone can shed some lights here. Really need the help. Planning to bid for a boat on ebay coz suddenly I got a craze for boating. Thought of getting something cheap only since I dunno how long I would enjoy boating.

Hi I recently found a apartment with individual title on auction and am very interested with it. However noticed that it has caveat on it; according to the agent. Will be doing a land search on it tomorrow.
Need some advice from some sifu here. Anyone bought caveated auction unit before? whats the procedure? anything we should look into b4 going for the auction?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share my experience so maybe people can learn from my mistake and mybe can share idea how to protect our business plan.

basically in 2009, I came out with a desire to bring in an established brand into Malaysia. Its CLIPPER lighters from China under the company FLAMAGAS manufactured and distributed by deep blue lighters in Shanghai. Because I was new into trading, I have limited local contact. I made a visit to Shanghai and shared my business proposal with them and everything went well. They even came to Malaysia to do a market survey.

After sorting that out, I went from 1 distributor to another including 7 eleven, 99 speedmart etc.. All these people really tekan small company like mine and we really could not make much profit. So i decided to go to T*ngee s/b which is quite a reputable distributor carrying many brands including their own product like the Drink in 7Eleven ' What if' etc. So i met this dude by the name of J*r*my there. He got really interested and advise me no need to go through his company. He will help me as he got loads of contact but demanded about 6k salary a month even b4 I sell my product. Told him I can give profit sharing but he refuse so I told him to F*** off.

Anyway after that I drifted and concentrate on my other business. After some time I manage to hook up with a big distributor who was willing to buy in bulks through me. I contacted the company in china again but told me someone already placed an order from Malaysia and they are not willing to sell to me even though they did not sign any sole distributor agreement with the Malaysian company. I explained let the best men wins la. The guy by the name of Romero there was really rude even though we belanja him nicely when he was in Malaysia. damm Lansi already. Before getting buyer from Malaysia he was very nice and friendly. I guess thats life la. So I guess soon we should be seeing this brand on the shelf.

So my question is How can we protect our business plans or idea if we need to share with people to materialize the business? in my case I believe this J*r*my guy had undercut me and got some water fish to do this business with him.

Renting Juice or Drink dispenser

Hi all sifu,

Currently I want to add drinks to my outlet in Selangor region. Anyone got contact for agent from F&N, MILO, sugar cane juices and soya milk that can service me ? Currently I am renting some coffee machine and some stupid cordial orange juice from some small time company. Not appealing to my customers. Thus thought want to change to these more popular brands. Previously approached by some of these agents but I thought want to try cheaper alternatives. Now when I want to contact them I kind of lost their name cards/contacts. I thought I'll post the question here as these info may be helpful to other people struggling like me.

Btw any other suggestions besides the above drinks that I have listed that you think will sell well especially for the Malay market as my area has majority malay people.

Hey bro/sis,

Just wondering if any of u also own a kiosk or retail shop at any major shopping centre? I have one F&B kiosk, actually taken a franchise from some company ( dont want to mention brand or Location ). I initially started this for passive income but didnt know it is not as lucrative as I thought. Is this normal with u all?
My main problem is with workers la. Usually every few months must look for new one either because they r either unreliable or they resign. How do u manage ur workers to keep them motivated an loyal?
Which is the best POS system??

The management of the shopping also increase rent every year for me. Susah to tahan la. Is it same for u all?? Anyway u all can nego?

Effects of Falling in Chinese populations

Just read recently that chinese population had fallen from 40+% in 1960s to currently 25%. Will this affect the future of property market in Malaysia with the on going decline in Chinese people? As we can see so many Chinese are migrating overseas and their numbers of children are falling dramatically as so many are marrying very late plus not many have more than 2 children. Any comments ??

Runner for F&B set up

Hi bros and sister,

I am wondering whether there are runners or consultants here providing service to help set up a F&B kiosk or outlet? eg for shopping complexes or normal shop restaurant etc.
For me I am more interested if someone could help to do everything from A to Z for me. I am planning to set up a small kiosk for my cousin to run. Am looking to take up a franchise from existing companies like nelson, each a cup etc la. So are there anyone who can help apply for the licensee from franchise and apply for a spot at major shopping malls to setting up the whole thing?? Money would be paid when everything has setup successfully. I tried to do it for myself but find it too tideous and would take up too much of my time from my work. My cousin is young and..lets say special la so he cant do all that. So I want to help him to earn a living. So this kind of servise would be helpful. I am sure many people here also interested to know.

Had some water heater problems 2 days ago ( my type is the tangki type ) but could not find anyone capable of fixing it. Anyway stumble on this website via google. Called them up and they came the next day. 15 mins kau tim already. After dat back to enjoying hot water dip and high pressure rain shower
