Problem details
First occurrence of problem: 3-4 months ago
Problem frequency: Intermittent and without fixed pattern but mostly at night. But it did happen during daytime as well.
Problem description: Wifi Router will be "dead" without power and LED's flickering. The DC output is 0 volt instead of normal 5.08volts. The strange thing is the output will be about 85 volts AC (note AC and not DC) so test pen will indicate presence of AC voltage. 85 volts was obtained after measuring it with a digital multimeter. Power supply will be left as it is in "ON" position and it was left overnight and the next morning service was restored. The make of this power supply unit is Model WN10U-050U and it is made by Fairway Electronic Co. Ltd. (China).

Should I take this case up with SIRIM or Jabatan Bekalan Elektrik on safety of electrical equipments or can someone help (including from local agent of Level 1)?
