Microphone problem

Well, i'm using a D-Link wireless adapter to connect to the net and skype ppl using a microphone. Problem arises when my friend talks to me . I can only hear part of wad he/she said and sometimes the sound is like kinda like broken and continuous repetively until i got pissed of it . I changed my microphone and it doesnt seem to help.May i know where the problem comes from? Is it because I'm using a wireless adapter so such problem arises ? or my microphone has problem?

I'm in Form 5 dis year and will be taking SPM 2007 in another 2 weeks time.Unfortunately,i got selected for the NS (Nasional Service ) training for 2008. The name list will be out in another 2 days and it decides whether am i going for the 1st batch for the 2nd 1 .Problems arise because i'm planning to take the Accounting course in Sunway University College. It is a 3 yrs proggramme until I graduate, dat is CAT( 1yr ) -> ACCA(fundamental course,1 yr time ) ->ACCA(professional level,1 yr time ).Wad fears me is if i got selected for the 2nd batch ,starting around march the 11th until June,which means dat i'll be wasting my 3 mths time until it comes to my turn .In addition , I heard from my friends dat Sunway Uni College is giving extra course for the students back from NS training to catch up wif their studies,so dat they are able to go for the CAT finals paper.It horrified me because I dun reali think i could cope with it .

I need some advice from all the senior members in dis forum.All of ur advice will be taken into consideration to decide my future.Below is the situation i'm facing .Thx in advanced.
