How to identify correct Galaxy S5 stock rom

Hello sifus, I have a noob-ish question here.

A few months back, I rooted my Samsung Galaxy S5 using the towelroot method; the only reason I did this was to allow 3rd party apps to gain write access to the SD card. Never really cared about other fancier customizations to be honest.

Recently I heard that android lollipop will restore the SD card write access permission to 3rd party apps. When the lollipop firmware is available for Galaxy S5 and if the write access is really restored, I would like to go back to using stock rom.

Prior to this I have experimented with trying to install OTA updates, but it always fails to install. I concluded that I will need to manually restore the stock rom using Odin.

As of now, I'm having trouble identifying the correct version of stock rom for use in Malaysia. The selection available can be viewed from this site:

List of stock rom

I hope that someone can tell me how to identify the correct version, or maybe even suggest a better/easier way to put back stock rom to my phone.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Need advise for early termination of ASB loan

Hello everyone,

I have a friend who had very recently entered the job market and she had taken out a RM150k ASB loan. She found out now that she's having trouble to keep up with the monthly payments.

I advised her to get an early termination of the loan or at least negotiate to reduce the loan amount. I have never actually taken out an ASB loan myself, so I'm not sure if my suggestions are actually workable or not.

Also, if either of those options is actually workable, would it be possible to stretch out the payment of outstanding interest, i.e. to to increase the payment duration in order to reduce the monthly commitment.

I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience on this matter, and if so perhaps you can elaborate on the terms?

Hello everyone,

I'm kind of interested in buying a lelong house, but need to get some info first. If say I win the bid, do I have pay the whole price outright or is it normally possible to get some sort of installment plan?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone recommend any good PCI-E to USB 3.0 adapter and where to buy it? I only a found a cheap, off-brand one at Sri Computers and that one did not work at all. Can't seem to find it in other shops at LY.
