Panasonic 70" Ceiling Fan

I am thinking to buy a Panasonic 70" Mondo fan. But the problem is this panasonic fan come with a "Ball joint hanging structure" different from the hook type.
My ceiling now is plaster ceiling type.
1) Can it easy to drill it into the concrete ceiling ?
2) If I modified it to hook type will it safe?

I am thinking to buy Sony SRS D8 because I love the sub sound. But this few days I saw a lot of Microlab reviews. Everyone said that is very good. In Malaysia dont have any shops selling Microlab. That is the problem that I cant audit it.

Anybody can give me some advise for Microlab 2.1 speakers (any model) compare with Sony SRS D8. Thankyou
