Strange.. What's wrong? Modem? Tmnet?

Hello LYN members

Broadband provider
ISP/package: TMnet Broadband / 512kbps RM66
Location: Senai

Personal equipment
Modem: Aztech 600eu

Problem details

I just installed streamyx and keep getting problems.. where i got disconnectd for long periods of time
(DSL light not on or blinking). Try to remedy it by doing research on net.
So I connected my pc to regular dial-up TMnet Prepaid.

The strange thing is that after I disconnected the dial up line and immediately connected the phone line back to the DSL modem, the DSL light blinks and suddenly I got connected to Streamyx! This happens twice now.

Is this a sign that something wrong with line?
It looks like by connecting to dial-up, the internet port become free and I be able to use my Streamyx line..
Seems that way? What u guys think?
