http://forum.lowyat.net/ Tue, 29 Sep 2026 16:12:02 +0800 FeedCreator 1.7.2 http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/532893 I had just purchase a new Acer Aspire notebook and it&#39;s preloaded with a non-genuine version of Win XP, at first is Linux.<br />Just now when i attempt to do some presentation, after i connect the cable of projector to my notebook, it can be connected and detected (hear the sound like when you plug in something like pendrive etc.), But when i click fn + f5 to switch the display mode, it seems has no response at all. So i press fn + f5 over and over again and i found out that the option screen appear and disappear before it appear, it was just appear but and disappear again before i can make any choice and the whole process is less than 1 sec.(can imagine how fast the option disappear) And the funny thing is, when the computer is off, i connect the cable, after i press the turn on button, the lcd projector will have the Acer startup screen and Microsoft XP windows loading screen, at this moment, my notebook&#39;s lcd is blank, but once it change to the Welcome page, the display on projector will gone and the display will back to my notebook&#39;s lcd.<br />The same thing happens to monitor too.<br />I have googled for this but noone seems able to give me an answer about this.<br />Will be be any problem with software since it did appear but disappear within 1 sec, or will it be some program stop it before it appear?<br />Hope that anyone here can help me asap.<br />Thanks, jinsey Technical Support Sun, 07 Oct 2007 20:05:26 +0800
