In case someone passed away suddenly, by accident or something, what happens to his savings in the bank? Where does it go to?

Is it possible to name a beneficiary in such cases?

Or it needs to be specified in the will?

A Dummy's guide: Desperate moves

Hi peeps~

Let's compile a list of desperate moves that you have seen/experienced which people should not be using during courtship/relationship.

updated! info I found on the internet--->
Signs of desperate men:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

So you think you've found a great guy online; he's available, interested in your life, and always calls when he says he will. And even though this guy seems like the best catch in town, it's possible he's too desperate. Before you end up with a needy, clinging man on your hip, watch out for these warning signs:

ALWAYS AVAILABLE: Whenever you send him an email, he responds within minutes. If you call him, he always picks up his phone within three rings and drops whatever he's doing--work, watching sports, putting out a kitchen fire--to talk to you.

NEEDS CONTANT REASSURANCE: He's always asking if his hair looks okay, if his suit fits correctly, or if you like his new necklace. He wants constant reassurance that you find him more interesting than any other profile on the online dating service.

CHANGES FOR YOU: His profile reports that he loves martial arts films, but when he finds out you're into romantic comedies, he immediately chooses Meg Ryan and Julia Roberts as his favorite actresses. Or he claims to dislike fish and seafood, but expresses his joy when you suggest sushi for your first date dinner.

All of these are warning signs of a desperate man who will become clinging and needy in the future. If you want someone who bends to your will and is constantly dependable--to the point that you're placed on a pedestal--this might be the guy for you.

How to tell if your business is failing?

I heard that most businesses ended within 2 years and over 90% cannot sustain over 5 years. How to tell your business is failing, when there are more cost than profit? Just a general question anyway.

-- Please keep your post concise to ensure a speedy review from us. We recommend 250 words or less. --
I start a new topic in the sales forum, and then I want to make a 2nd post under the 1st post. But I keep having problem that it will append the "2nd post" inside the 1st post. Can I know how to separate them? Because I am adding images as well so I keep hitting maximum image amount limit.

[addedon]August 26, 2008, 11:59 pm[/addedon]2nd post becomes like this, I want it to become post #2 instead.

handling work commited guys

I'm in a long distance relationship and my bf is starting his own business recently and is very commited to it. That said we don't chat on MSN as often as we used to, but he still tries his best not to completely left me alone and trying to do his own work at the same time.

I try my best to handle this but sometimes it's kind of difficult for me, as we are already in LDR and now the lack of communication. There are a few times I got pissed over being ignored but we got over that very soon, as I know how important the business is to him.

But there are also times I worry this can affect our relationship since we don't talk as much as we used to already, and I'm also in a dilemma that if I demand attention, it will affect his efforts in his business.

I did confess to him that I don't know how to handle a busy bf and he reply me in a joking way : "ignore me"

tell me how to be a good gf to work-commited guys?

Want to change masters course in USM

Hi I need some info on changing course in USM. I got an offer in Msc Computer Science but I'm more interested in Msc IT Technopreneurship. I think the latter suits me better because I can apply it in what I planning to do in future.

Also, the Msc Comp Sc is a mixed mode programmed but the IT Techno. is a oursework programme. If I going to do my PHD in future, is it necessary to have undergo research at Masters?
