Need Help to change some settings

Hello all overclocker,

im abit noob here and need some advise. i just build new machine. a core i5 machine.
the problem is the ram i bought is ddr3 1600mhz but now its running at 1333mhz.
im not planning to overclock i just wanted the memory to run at 1600mhz as it suppose to
by the way, i notice there is bios update for memory enhancement on gigabyte site.
Should i upgrade bios as its at F3 now. latest bios is F7.

my build:
Intel Core i5 750
Gigabyte GA-P55-UD6
2x2GB Team Xtreem DDR3 1600mhz (low voltage)
Vantec ION2+ 700watt

hello guys!....i got a bit of problem. right now i have an email application that will send and email through smtp protocol, the default smtp port is 25 but our company just change the port to 28 causing the application to failed as i tried to send out email. as i go through the source code, i see that this application using blat.dll which is public domain utility console to send email through smtp protocol. so i guess i have to change the port number but im having problem seeing the contents of blat.dll. i tried few tools but it only shows version and bla bla....nothing about the source code. someone suggest i decompile the dll file to get what i wanted but i cant find any suitable decompiler to open it up. i tried removing the dll file and the application not functioning so the dll file should not be empty. right?

anyone can help me out to change this port number?

i found the source code but i dont know how to compile it to dll as it has a lot of c++ file.

sata hard disk cannot detect when installing OS

hey guys!, my company bought new hard disk and it is SATA HD. so when i tried to install the hd seems that the motherboard dont have sata connector so they bought the converter SATA to IDE. so i installed everything when i start the pc, it detect the HD so i continue to install OS on it but then when i press ENTER to install fresh copy of OS then it shows "setup cannot find any hard disk". ive check the cable, connector and bios already...tried change here and there to test it but same problem still happening.

what im not sure is, is it the mobo cannot support at all the sata hd.how to make sure that my mobo can support or not the HD with converter?

helo!!!.....i got buy this logitech...quite sometimes already....but recently one of my headphone speaker lose audio then i tried check cable but then i found the culprit...its not the cable...its volume controller...i open up the VC then i tried tekan....got hear sound from both speaker already but then if no pressure on certain place then sound gone again....so i was wondering if anyone here can fix it? or anyone know to remove this VC permanently?

hey guys!....im nub using this excel....simple2 task i surely know but this i got large data and need to update it into another excel file.so the problem is i dont know how to "update link"

what i want to do is : i have 2 excel file A and B.A is processed data and B is raw data.so i want to update data from B into A.supposedly the data in B is unsorted so how am i going to update the data from B to A according like data of company A into company A column in excel A.

i want to install another 3 driver but cant oso cause CD-ROM cant detect in windows but in bios got detect.

the situation is i just move in to this new house and i got electric current all over my pc and monitor...
any piece of metal that connected to my pc have electric current .before this i never had this kind of problem but since i moved in to this new house i face this problem.i think its becoz of my power supply but my fren got

Recovery Console

ive entered into Rocovery Console but supposely i have to choose which drive but the Recovery Console goes directly to C:\ so when i tried to copy ntfs.sys to c:windows\system32\drivers i get "Access Denied".i tried logon command but nothing came out.do you think this is hard disk failure?or just system crashed?pls help me sifu!

Hi.....im trying to install new windows with my new rig.but i got some error when trying to boot on disk.....the error is

FILE \i386\biosinfo.inf could not be loaded.
The error code is 32768

Setup cannot continue.Press any key to exit

I dont know what is the problem....either its hardware or software.i thought my disk is faulty but after buy new wan oso cannot boot on disk.

hmm...i have nokia 1100 avaxx wan.....the problem is the screen is got nothing and only backlight on and off....its still the same when i remove and reinsert the battery.i dont know what is the problem and how long is the warranty given by avaxx...my nokia bought on 11/04....quite long enuff edi...so i ask the worker in hp shop....he said that i need to upgrade the software....hmm is it the right thing to do?...so i hope some people can help me...thx!!!
